I'm on IM with my bro right now and he says that he preordered his 360 7 months ago, was forced to buy $100 worth of crap to hold his place, and then forced to buy a joystick, and then actually pay for the thing in full only to find out today that he's not on the list. Needless to say he's super pissed.
It was PS2 that had supply issues at launch. The reason was a manufacturing error that wasn't corrected until the last minute.
The thing about HD was directed at Brad who obviously does give a rip about video games because he was saying he was just waiting to see if it was worth it. If he didn't give a rip, he wouldn't even bother.

I will be accepting a $900 check on december 6th to go shopping for the kids staying at the battered womens/kids shelter for stuff on their dear santa list - also getting all the gift wrap to go with it - and delivering it to the shelter so the mom's can have presents to give to their kids on christmas morning.
If I were you I'd enroll for the January class and move on. Talk to an advisor at the Unemployment place. The fact that they've messed with you so many times might be means enough to not have to accept their call back once again.
I would enroll and tell them that if they want you- they will just have to work around your school schedule. And while you are at it find out if there are any more education benefits via the employer. you never know.
Did that today. As long as they don't say I refused a job I'm ok. Thats my plan for now. I know that they did that for some other people in the past with no problems. I can't even get a hold of the plant manager today though. If he say's I can do that tomorrow, then I will not return with a stipulation that they don't deny my claim. I also confered with the federal TAA program and they are cool with it too.
getting to watch the big wigs who have been trying to dump the stupid turkey give away on me for the last 3 weeks scramble like idiots today - when the truck carrying the turkeys broke down 3 hours away and has to be resent tomorrow.
tisk tisk tisk... I told them they should have spent the extra little $ for the higher quality local birds... the farm is just down the road from here - but no one ever listens to me... noooooo. It's all about the bottom line.
getting to take many of the turkeys tomorrow that would have gone to employees who have already left for the holiday, and donating them to the homeless shelters.
