nah... the BEST cure is mickey d's fries, a coke (no diet) 5 advil and a handful of mulit-vitamins.

or Mountain Dew with Chocolate syrup and half a bottle of baby asprin works pretty dang well too.

hair of the dog in the form of a bloody mary is my cure if I'm planning on drinking again the following day.

I had cornbeef and kraut (they were out of cabbage) for lunch today. Couldn't resist.

The diet re-starts tomorrow.

Watching my 4 year old nephew at his first teeball game.... or I should say watch him play in the sand out in the field because no balls ever get hit that far. Poor kid... he was bored and wanted to go home. I almost think 4-5 years old are too young for that. They only play 2 innings and they don't keep score and there aren't any outs but the innings get too long. He doesn't have the attention span and gets discouraged easily. We hope the next game will be better for him.

Kitch -- maybe his team will play yours... they're the Yankees.

Oh.. do they have soccer for 4-5 year olds? He loves soccer. We were playing it with him last Sunday in their backyard. He was having a blast. He told his mom that his favorite parts of the day were playing soccer with auntie Kelly and uncle Pete and watching the fireworks.

Maybe it's not too late to switch him over to soccer.

Superman Returns.... the special effects are breathtaking. Brandon Routh is awesome! The resemblence is uncanny. He also just happens to be my husband's third cousin once removed. I'm not kidding. His dad is cousins with Brandon Routh's grandmother. My husband remembers seeing him when he was a boy at a family reunion in Iowa.

well the daughter looks like an alien child sooo what was her talent? and secondly...yes the mom (is that really her mom?) is beautiful -that has to be her sister or just some girl. She can't be Teen America and have a 12 yr old daughter---was that taken recently? she is wearing a turtleneck! ...um, it's July. Lindsey is the girl wearing the crown right?

The Wild spending money for once, when it's all said and done they'll be right near the salary cap.

And they did it wisely, I think they are going to be Cup contenders this year!

ok, so I'm watching (not realizing I was watching a REPEAT) Americas Got Talent and this girl comes on and they say her name is Bianca Ryan...I'm instantly up on the edge of the couch, I didn't realize why the heck you were talking about her, your post seemed out of the blue, it didn't look like the girl in your picture but WOW! she rocked! ... and then there was the crying angel from Russia - goodness... but entertaining ...I love a man that cries...but I'm still not sure about him...he needs to be a showgirl in Vegas. And, gotta find out where to get a snowwhite costume like that

using my *cold* as an excuse to leave work tomorrow @ 12:30 - when in reality I'm going to go visit a friend who is in town doing a seminar that morning, and then we are spending the day - drinking / possibly golfing / who-knows-whats-ing.

went and saw it at Oakdale 20, they had 12:01, 12:02, and 12:03 listings for it.... but then they added ones for everything up til 12:10....

each and every one of them sold out...

the movie is great.... and they keep you on the edge of your seat at the very end, wanting to see part 3 RIGHT NOW... unfortunately we have to wait a year for that. Same weekend as the next installment of Spiderman, too. That should be fun.... save your money now.

it'd be nice if they would do what happened with the matrix, and have them come out pretty close together....

but these are pirates... they dont play nice...

once again, theres a little somethin, somethin after the credits.... not much, and not really worth waiting for, but its a funny little bit, if you have the time.

I liked this one way better than Superman Returns...

theres no way that kid being born can even be possible.

also.... we got a nice little preview for Transformers.... I have the feeling that that ones gonna suck badly.

I love to stay for credits. It's like staying until the stadium clears out after a football game. Why be in a hurry? slow down and smell the roses popcorn

gonna go see it tomorrow

I havn't been this excited to see a movie since Star Wars 3

yeah... but theres always that one person that "has to pee" or "has to smoke" or.... whatever.... and they like to say "if theres nothing after the credits, i'm gonna be mad at you"

like you've got anything better to do, at 3 in the morning.... you havent pee'd or smoked for the last couple hours, i'm sure 5 more minutes wont kill you...

not to mention, you drank all of my rum & coke that I snuck in here.... (come on... its a pirate movie, you're pretty much required to do that at this one)

I saw the midnight showing over at marcus on the ultrascreen. 9.75 for a ticket, pffft I suppose they tacked on extra for the midnight showing or something. When the ticket price gets to be the same cost as the dvd, I'll start waiting for the dvds...

Movie was good, but I'm really not a fan of johnny depp. Lotta people dressed up as pirates. Heh, I think it would've been more funny to come dressed up in a british navy uniform.

I didn't know there was even a following for this one. I was kinda surprised they even made a second one.

Then again, I guess I'm not really surprised because they make sequels to any film that makes a profit the first time around anyway.

I like Depp but just not in his gay Keith Richards impression is all.

I'm sure I'll rent it of course.
