Don't forget the conservatory also if you like Como. It must be some place with a roof overhead because you will not get wet. Could be many parks again.

Yes, l had to make a decision. I have walked both landings and just picked a bigger park. I still think it is Highland and they are making it difficult. But then l am mentally disturbed in my old age. Lol....actually don't want to drive that far up north. I decided to stay home and rest my hip, back and knees from hurting climbing over snow burrs and walking in the snow. I have not found that tree trunk  in HL however and checked out the bark patterns against the screen shot l took in the beginning. Didn't find it in Hidden either but kept near parking because my hips hurt. The snow sucks up little old folk yah know following that hopping rabbit down, down that hole.

No need for suite or rubber boots tells me it’s not by the water parks or any of the water in the park! We are going to need more coordinates, other than between upper and lower to lock in a good spot to dig. I’m thinking by the old ski ruins? Seems to fit the bill but again a large area to scope out without more precise directions

I swear the clue writer picked 10 parks and purposely created clues that they all have in common to totally confuse us on which park it is. I have a feeling it will go to the midnight dig which l am not fond of because l am a lone hunter.

A bower is also either one of the two highest trumps (did I hear (im)peach?) in the card game 'euchre'.
It is also a person who bows (connection to genuflect clue?) to show respect.

I don't know that it is in their nature or that there is any precedent for just naming a street outright.

Could also be Pacific Ave that runs near Indian Mounds and turns into Plum street (plum-met from clue 6) at the bluff that overlooks BVNS.

I was also thinking a water tower could be the water above. But why is the water grand? That may be the key to figuring out which water. If I stick with Phalen it could be a reference to Atlantic St. which runs both above and below the park on a map. There is a famous hotel called the Grand Atlantic, though perhaps not famous enough to be in a clue. Or maybe the Atlantic is just grand by itself?

The Pioneer Press Treasure Hunt is part of the St. Paul Winter Carnival every year. While the prize can only go to one winner, The Allison Wonderland is dedicated to the community spirit of treasure hunting. Here, not only will you find out about the Pre-Dig Gig, the Rehash Bash, and various other social events, but we also discuss the clues here in a team effort to decipher them (albeit not always successfully). This is a place to discuss ideas respectfully, report on what's happening "on the ground", and provide each other with useful information. This is a public group so expect that anything posted will be seen by everyone.
