Any thoughts on why more commas were used in this clue compared to how prior clues have been punctuated (or not)?

WBL is also the HQ site of Hockey Day in MN this year.

I think this clue is about Jake - ryhmes with rake. A "hero" for finding the puck with only 3 clues and causing a second medallion to be hidden - in Central Park.

Reference to Crosby who was a farmer

clue may 8 refer to Herb Brooks who I believe went to school and grew up by Phalen.

Yeah the part that gets me with that clue is it says buddy where I feel it's a person. So phalen could work, hamm for swede hollow? 

I think PP is referring to Ellingson and crew who found it in WBL and the year before in Highland Park! Two time finders!

A hero by  another name could be a sub if we are talking sandwiches. That could help the case for como - or maybe I’m hungry. 

"by another name" could this be a reference to Shakespeare? "A rose by any other name" Rose Ave. is right near the grouping of streets previously mentioned.
The Queen song would be Victoria 
"Killing it" would be N Kilburn

Also, parking the car, street references in the Queen song, and the sidewalks of New York all make me think they are trying to get us to look at street names. Maybe I'm just too zeroed in on Como though.

That is amazing!  I found the Treasure Hunt by Roger Barr from 1992 but not Map Guy's latest book.  UGH. 

That seems pretty obscure about Ragsdale. Map Guy makes sense as the person they're talking about, but do they really mean to give us the park this way? And you're right that it doesn't seem to fit the other clues very much. Maybe the park isn't the clue but rather his name, though I can't connect it to anything.

I can't find my treasure hunt book by map guy. We moved and I have some unpacked boxes still. I wonder what he says about Como Park in there? I know there are tons of photos on his web site.  yeesh, this just keeps getting weirder.
