It's time for the Medallion Hunt! The first clue will appear on PioneerPlanet just after midnight Saturday, Jan. 22. Come back here to compare notes with other treasure seekers, but be certain you read the rules on the Planet's Winter Carnival page.
Then don't waste our time. We're trying to help each other here. No time for playing games. If you want to share fine, but try not to post worthless messages. The server is having a hard time as it is with everyone on it and only reading and not participating. That's why everyone's been asking to only keep things to hunting for the medallion.
My name is Nightdigger. I work during the day and dig at night. The moonlight points to Highland Park. I'm doomed to roam the parks at night digging for the treasure. I can only be detroyed by someone finding the treasure first before me.
hidden falls, if its not at newell me beleaves. but what bugs me, is #1=hidden falls. #2=battle creek, #3=highland.#4=cherokee. and they all fit their seperate clues perfect. hmm, theirs extra money this year. and the word conoclast implies break with tradition. maybe a multiple medellion hunt?
What does anyone think @ adorn the front door could be a plaque that says Built in 1954, 1945.... or such? And what does anyone think @ Hilter being the iconoclast.... and what he did to Jewish people.. HP area has always been known as a Jewish community...or at least several years ago.
I'll give all of you a major clue but won't reveal the exact details. The reason there is such an emphasis on the golf course destruction is because it is next to a private golf course in St. Paul not a public. they could get in big trouble if their hunt ruined private property. why do you think that there is a new rule this year about destroying peoples property.
I have to lean towards HP just because I think the medallion is somewhere inbetween the Sliding Hills by the water towers and the ouitdoor swimming pool (near or on the frisbee golf course[no fairways or greens])
I am here GoldenBoy, having the damndest time with this board and reading and posting, this sucks, but better than nothing though. Right now i am trying to catch up on messages about 80 more to read, post if u are still here. I went out to Newell last night for almost 2 hours, dug for an hour. I was on here this morning at 8am just in case you posted before you left I wanted to be sure though, before I went out again.
Bullshit Newell can't hold 20 cars--could hold a thousand, if you were there 15 years ago that place was packed on the last day and still room for more people. You obviously dont know what u are talking about Robert.
I think that's part of the challenge. Mom wants us to think that a lot of the parks fit the clues until the end when we all say "I knew it was there all along!"
hey Golden Boy... you in filmmaking?
NP = Newell Park; PB = Pierce Butler
Patty what do you know that we dont?
Ooooooooh Patty.......big tough words. I reeeeaaaaalllyyy think you're cool.

I'll call you Golden Boy...I'm sitting here waiting for the clue before I leave.
THIS IS WHAT THE BACK OF THE MEDALLION LOOKS LIKE
Patty, I seem to be your only friend in here. I know what park it's at and these are all WRONG.
Golden Boy: Are you in Woodbury right now?
Me and the Medallion Mobile
agree with treassure digger, but i cant say im 100% innicent.
I am guessing Newell Park is NP and Phalen Beach is PB? Where exactly is Newell? N. St. Paul?
someday i will be running HOLLYWOOD!!! jokin... but yeah it's my career path of choice

PB is Pierce Butler but it is wrong, newell is not the place
YOU PEOPLE ARE READING TOO MUCH INTO THE CLUES JUST CHILL THERE IS ONLY A LITTLE INFO IN EACH CLUE
Snake that is the best logo I have ever seen! Ittiz perfect for this site!
Patty and Regal: Why dont you say where you think ittiz at?
O G you on here
I am new at this but thinnking it may be near a frisbee golf course or near the MN History Center.
Golden Boy: Have news for you. please exit watercooler & make conventional contact.

REGALMAN
So where is the REAL park?? Are you going to share??

Why a frisby golf course, Paco?

THEY WANT THIS HUNT TO GO THE DISTANCE!!!!!!!!

Woodduck - I'm here for the next 15-minutes - til 10:30.

The first clue
Alliego, have you been to Highland to check out the surrounding there? If so, what can you point that's at the park that would fit into the clues?
ICONOCLAST=colonastic, which is what these clues do to me, but I'm
clueless
My instinct says Highland, but I like the Golden Boy's explanations of clues.
I'm in Woodbury also. Want to carpool to NP? How long you 'spect to stay out?

Will someone tell me where Newell Park is at or near
I think that's part of the challenge. Mom wants us to think that a lot of the parks fit the clues until the end when we all say "I knew it was there all along!"
I DON'T THINK THE NAME OF THE PARK IS EVEN IN THE CLUES YET THIS HUNT WILL GO THE DISTANCE
Snake, I think your the only sane person on here. I agree about reading too much into the clues!
Who is from St. Bernards? I saw someone mention it earlier
It seems like people already scoured Newell and Highland and maybe even Phalen. Why keep going back?
Regal-Somerset??
has anyone noticed that 51 and 5 basically triangulate the borders of highland park??? i'd say that may count as adorning the front door....
and the 4+shout = "fore" = there IS a golf course at the park we are searching for....
and 9+numbers keep score=innings in a baseball game, of which there are fields at highland...
just noticed a street called Rankin leading to higland park... rankin=ranking="numbers keep score"????
not to mention Homer St... another baseball reference.. (and an indirect reference to my picture!!!)
Paco, it's south of the St. Paul Saint's Stadium.
Who is from St. Bernards? I saw someone mention it earlier
Nice try bandit
saw it earlier and no one has said anything lately, but pig's eye park is the place.
I agree with Snake also. They are being purposely ambiguous with these clues. I bet they are having a grand old time reading our ideas.
