It's time for the Medallion Hunt! The first clue will appear on PioneerPlanet just after midnight Saturday, Jan. 22. Come back here to compare notes with other treasure seekers, but be certain you read the rules on the Planet's Winter Carnival page.

Birdie 15: are you that 5 foot nothin Aggie I know?
this room is gonna be madness at 11:30... i say people should get the clue and talk it over on the phones or head to the parks they think its at and talk it over there...
treasure hunting is like a religion. lots of stuff beleaved based of faith. maybe the icnoclast is something out of our usaly beliefs. like medallionS or cherokee, or not main 6 parks
Chris P.---the "new" and "well" are just guidance points to get to the correct park(my belief) Meaning you have to go by newell park and the stadium to get there
Amy, I've been told it is a good book to have in the Medallion Hunt reference library. I will definitely buy it next year -- no matter how much is costs.
Now you're talking Amy T-I played T Ball @ Hazel Park and used to fly downhill @ Beaver Lake!!! I can't imagine the PP wanting everyone to tear the you know what out of the those parks. Not a lot of room. Any other Blessed Sacrament kids out there???
I think it is way to early to tell what park it is in. Here is something to think about. Ramsey County provides active recreation areas in nine county parks, five regional parks and five regional corridors. And Regal if I'm thinking of the same park as you. That is way to small and no parking. There is going to be thousands of people out there digging .
I believe that the treasure is in Como Park. The Winter Carnival Ice slide is there this year and it says if you get to close to the action you won't find it. But there is an old monument in Como Park and the ball fields are not that far away from where the Ice Slide is going to be.
How did it feel to finally find the damn thing? Were you stunned? Disbelief? By the end of the hunt, I'll have dreams of finally finding that blue plastic. It drives me nuts!
Chris P--not thinking to hard into the clues... does no good--you see what happens when you do--read the last 3000 posts lol. Will let you know more before i head out round midnight to 12:30 if your still here then. There are no OBVIOUS blasts from the past...yet!
CHRIS IT WAS WAY SWEET BUT I SHOULD HAVE FOUND IT AT LEAST 5 TIMES SENSE I HAVE BEEN SO CLOSE SEEN PEOPLE FIND RIGHT NEXT TO ME 3 TIMES I WILL FIND IT AGAIN!!!!!
The numbers 9,5,4 could mean that there are nine innings in a ball game and that the #5 position on the ball field is the shortstop or third base position I believe. When it says sometimes a four if your lucky, I think it means that sometimes you can hit a home run in a game and circle all four bases.
