Kids I'm so proud to call mine.

A loving husband and soul mate.

Good health.

Great friends.

A decent job that keeps a roof over our heads.

A super extended family that love and support each other (at least most of the time).

Faith.

I am thankful for a special, wonderful woman in South Dakota who loves me like no one else. Who I love like no one else. Who I will gladly spend the rest of my life with.

I'm thankful for many things, but here's my top 3.

My wonderful wife and kids.

Great job that I truly enjoy going to everyday.

My extended family, which I was estranged from for many years.

I'm thankful for so many things there are just too many to list. But my top ones.

Most of all My Wife, and my kids and the rest my Family and the joy they bring me everday.

My friends for always being there.

The life that I have, days when I think I have it bad I always know someone else has it worse than me and then I feel guilty for thinking I was bad off. As the old saying goes "I felt sad because I had no shoes until I met a man without feet." I need to remember that and not concentrate on what I don't have.

I'm thankful for the country I live in, I'm thankful I can write an opinion in a newspaper without being condemed to death by the local ruling power. Or have my house burnt down or killed because someone had a beauty pageant. I'm glad I live here for so many reasons I'm sure it would bore the hell out of everyone so I won't list the rest but suffice it to say, I'm thankful that I live in the best place on earth to live. I'm lucky.

    Happy Thanksgiving to all.

I will give thanks that I made the decision and was able to migrate to the United States and become a proud citizen , thus opening up endless opportunities for my progeny.

I shall also be thankful that there are many who are with me in this country who have not succumbed to the shrill hysteria of extremism and who still cherish the fundamental value of human compassion.

Thanksgiving is the only American tradition that is family centric and devoid of a lot of the crass commercialism that infests the fabric of American life.

    May prosperity and peace prevail.

I'm thankful for expensive ass face paint that doesn't run off when you're soaked in sweat and Faygo, and Halloween, since it's the only time of the year that I don't get harassed by the fuzz for wearing face paint, and for cotton candy.

yes-by claiming one of your men as a woman!
you could have catorgized him into any other category on earth-but you chose woman- unless you think Jethro is superior to you, which a woman would be just right :)

    Jethro,

You invited me to Billy's at the last minute.

I started posting at the PP in 1997 or 1998. How about you?

Yes, of course I would like to know more. Wouldn't you be in the least curious if you were in my shoes?

I like women just fine. Some of my favorite people are women.

Ok, if you give me enough notice, I'll show up and buy you a drink.

I can't find a name on my shoe but they're made in Italy.

It's your sex that makes you a woman.

Sorry, didn't mean for that to sound like it did because they're actually quite cheap.

    I'm not into shoes.

Maybe it's because my ex-wife was a shoe freak.

She used to buy tuperware storage containers to store her shoes.

There's just something not right about that.

Is this why you married a woman who doesn't wear shoes most of the time but skates?

actually THX-that tupperware idea is not bad- I am so sick of my shoes getting wrecked by dog/cat hair, other shoes getting thrown on top of mine and sheetrock dust!

No Shit! I thought I mentioned that on here before. I must of just said golf and not disc golf. I'd love to get together with you guys. I play mostly at Kaposia but that will be closed until later in the spring to save all the damage. I play North Valley when Kaposia is closed or there's a tournament. I'm glad to hear that you guys play. Anyone else? I know me2's Mark used to play too. Spring just can't come fast enough. Not that it's been a bad winter mind you.

most of my discs were scooped off the bottom of the pond at north valley

I'm sure that I could probably name each and every one of those ;-)

Unfortunately the guys that organize the Ice Bowl during the Winter Carnival end up ripping off the non-pro players more and more every year. Being that GGGT is a sponsor, it doesn't cast them in too good of a light. I just buy mine from the disc sharks that hang out at the parks. Convieniance is huge when the alternative is driving to Mpls or going to a gas station and having limited pickings.

My record is -2 for the newer longer set-up where 17 encompasses both the old 16 & 17. But my average is more like +7 most of the time. My beer intake can be anywhere from +9 to +18 depending if we are playing the beer-a-hole game.

i'm no good at all. mostly, because i take advantage of the fact that the courses are all designed against righty's, and throw left-handed. which is naturally weaker. of course i also throw darts left-handed too. something about standing with my right side facing the dart board that i just can't feel right with unless i'm throwing sidearm.
