I tried the California Cruisers. (all missing) I tried the Devil Ducks. (all missing)
I tried the "Winter Cache Bash" I give up. I blame Kitch.
This is the thread where you get the earliest notice of new caches. Period.

about a mile to the southwest of the last cords....is a nice little park. Its fishlake. I haven't been there in years. just go west of Harris...you can't miss it.
Whoohoo!

Back in high school I used to date a girl that lived right next to the park. The swimming beach was always packed with Cambridge Girls and North Branch girls.

One question, per person, allowed for each cache. Leave your log undated, maybe?
WTF... if you've looked at other state assn's they have this. Now we do, for the few, the proud, ooops, wrong commercial.
I gotta crash, please tell the ladies I can't make it tonight.
Good Luck, and Congrats. You go, girls !
It's gonna take a few months now (weather), but I got the topo map, and permission of the land owner yesterday for "In The Hall of the Mountain King"
THIS one will kick some major ass.

Â
wtf?
Heh
grrr...
agreed
all I've got is 600 + 400 =1000
Â
hmmm north of wilkinson lake in north oaks for that...is possible...but damn..can't be that easy....
where'd you get 600 + 400 from?
CD and DC?
roman numerals...yep
crud, why didn't I think of that? Nice noodle Kitch.
If you flip the numbers around, it puts you on the other side of poplar lake open space? Dunno if that helps or not.....
ah crap...
hmm.. satellite looks better on the reversed coords... Wish I knew if that was private land or not though... mapquest shows the west side of the lake is open space, but the east side?
normally...you know it when you find the cords...this time I'm not sure....
yeah, fairly puzzling...
I like the fact that the reversed coords are fairly close to the posted coords..... but I don't like the fact of driving all that way to end up in someone's backyard... hmmm
I don't like the fact of soo many zero's....
Â
true, it'd be fairly tough to get a cache at that exact of a location...
blah, things been puzzling me all day. Nice job Ian!
I suppose Kitch figured it out and is out finding it now. I'm still confused...

is it just a coincidence that the waypoint is GCM9CD?
now I know I've been looking at it too long, time for a break.

I was told the print version of this article has a photo of my cache in it!!!
I made the bigtime!!
OK not really!
Too bad the online one doesn't show the picture. What cache is it anyway?
Wondering more on CD + DC = M... Maybe that bit's just a ruse...
Spent a bit of time looking over satellite at the posted coords.. there may be a possibility it's in the park the posted coords are in, slim, but I'm graspin at straws on this one anyway.

Â
http://www.geocaching.com/seek/cache_details.aspx?guid=d42fda08-68f3-413b-a3d1-aea39c58b8c5Â could be this one..just down the road..i'm not sure which...
umm..its the 2nd one per the logs...
“Everyone likes a treasure hunt,” said Chad Halvorson, a deputy with the Burnett County Sheriff’s Department. He has only been a geocacher for a month or two and by no means an expert, but he loves it.
Â

I'm sooo glad...this way when I get pulled over up there...I just might stand a chance talking myself outta a ticket!!!!

I've posted enough crackpot theories though, course I think I'm on to something, perhaps ala Perverse Joy? Check out that cache and see if this one might be similar
Funny how this is soo close to a archived cache....

so kitch was right all along? And suddenly those numbers make total sense, but how did you manage to place a cache at such precise coords?
Lemme guess... Wayfarin is out there now?
maybe...he just knows that I might never even move from my seat at work....
