Thanks!

I belong to a chat group and there are a couple of people who like to come in and stir up trouble.  The thing that makes them the maddest is to not acknowledge them.  They thrive on the attention.

dudgeon \DUH-juhn\, noun:
A state or fit of intense indignation; resentment; ill humor

curmudgeon

a crusty, ill-tempered, and usually old man

scoot-amtrack train

My take on the 1st clue is that it's in a park and if you really go out on a limb the park could have a critters name in in it ala "Beaver Lake Park." But thats a stretch.-wolfpac

This might be a reach, but does anyone else think that "Stuck" from the clue could refer to being stuck by a rose?  As in ROSEville?  Maybe I am reading too much into it.  I know that scoot also could relate to a skatepark and there is one not too far from Central park in ROSEville.  I am probably getting too caught up in nothing.  I am curious about people's thoughts on this.  Also, what time do they let you buy papers at the PP?  If I wait for them to appear online, what time does that usually happen?

That Scoot Amtrak train runs between Madison and Milwaukee or something like that though.  Doesn't run here.

I am pretty certain that the clue references an obvious story/tale?  Can anyone name it?

Clue 1

The old curmudgeon was in high dudgeon
When a critter ran off with the loot
But this year to be credible, we've made it inedible
And stuck it in a park - so scoot!

The old man was pissed last year with the critter taking the donut with the medallion so they made sure Its not edible this year. Its in a park and not just on public property.

FYI: They shut down Rocking Lobster @ 9:00, so anyone that was going to go, should now go to the bar at the Radisson.

oh- dear... oh, my....oh goodness.
This is so sad. I feel terrible that some lost soul's sophomoric misbehaviour is rattling bones so.
The pathetic thing is that this person is most likely is now sitting in his own gloat, proudly gleaning negative power from what he did.
Adult children do these things.

1) This is between Langness and ESD and it wasnt right to bring this to the forums. I suggest keeping it amongst yourselves.

2) This is not worth the time of anyone not involved. Just ignore it.

This is the longest day of the hunt, we have the first clue and have just that to work off of, so each letter is debated, once we can compare it, the noodles will really start rolling in.

Good Evening!

I have been thinking/remembering today about when there were two clues a day.  I miss those days.  This once a day clue thing gets so dragged out and leads to over noodling.
