I'm not smiling. IM doesn't have any kind of water. This narrows things quite a bit since it's not just the standard H2O clue, it's actually referring to a body of frozen water. Unless it's in ice that is.
OMG how many freakin parks have lakes? Phalen, Keller, Como, Merrydale, those are just a few off the top of my head... Battle Creek has a pond/swamp.. I wouldn't consider that a lake..
Beaver, Hidden Falls, - what's that one off larpenter & prosperity? Terry, I think you'd talked about being there once years ago, when it was terribly cold....?
Battle Creek also has the creek, running down toward the hwy 61 side. Not a likely spot, imho....but who says the 2nd clue has to get you on top of it....could just be pointing to the park itself.
clue's in other thread....looks like central to me.
the other thread yet. Thanks KT!

A place with a lake.
Did I make it 16 minutes?? Clue's out, I'm trusting DDave will get to this thread shortly. First thing Dad says "Oh God, it's at Como!"
They still haven't said St. Paul.....lots of parks out there with water and paths.
beaver it is!
OT, you don't want to know what that girl can fit in her bikini. Talk about junk in trunk. WOO HOO!
aaargh! which other thread???

i'm going to bed...nite gang...
i'll let you guys tear this one apart...
Mom - I knew you'd be here.
I thought Como too - the minute I read it.
Other parks with lakes would be Marydale, Phalen,
I hope this clue is worth the sleep I so desperately need.
Clue #2
Â
Â
Snow we have missed
much, this not very
white Christmas
But the ice has come
to stay
The water's quite frozen
at this park we have
chosen
Along its paths you
may while the time away
Cental sounds like a good possibility...I would think there would be a lot to reference from the clue writer's perspective too.
Could also be ice rinks.
paths and an ice rink (or lake). well that narrows it down. NOT.
while? Not whittle?

Ah, I tried to get home quick. It's gonna be tough, but maybe one of these days I'll beat Dave for the clue on here.
Keller...
Â
beaver
Or a fountain?
joe?

can't imagine they'd give the name of the park away in the 2nd clue though. Central time.. could mean a park located in a center...
parks with skating rinks, frozen(hidden) falls??
The fountains are drained.
Any places with frozen waterfalls in Ramsey County?
Beaver, Hidden Falls, - what's that one off larpenter & prosperity? Terry, I think you'd talked about being there once years ago, when it was terribly cold....?
Beaver
This is true... no mention of it ONLY being in St.Paul...
Wakefield
Â
Could be lower Battle Creek with the stream.
Tony Schmidt in Arden Hills
that's possible too OT
could mean it INice
That's right OT. I am sure that freezes.Â
I think this eliminates Mounds and Cherokee
Battle Creek also has the creek, running down toward the hwy 61 side. Not a likely spot, imho....but who says the 2nd clue has to get you on top of it....could just be pointing to the park itself.
Como and Phalen are possible too. Anythings possible still. What led people to noodle Beaver?
Need to check who has ice rinks this year. Some do and some don't and it seems to change from year to year.
I'm thinkin so too. haveta start pulling a list together of what parks are still in play
3m just likes the beaver is all (I think)
wonder if "stuckit in a park" refers to stuck in ice.

OMG I'm gonna have COMO nightmares... I just know it...
There is that ice arena at Highland...but it's indoors. Possible though.
It didn't say a "St. Paul park" last year either, just trying to keep more options in the mix
I don't think so, since it refers to the water at the park being quite frozen. Anybody's guess this early though.
This would also eliminate Newell
It says along this frozen water's paths you can while time away though.Â
