I'm here too. I don't expect to be doing any real digging till like Sat night. Of course I'm working wed, thur and Fri nights so that might have something to do with that :)
I was wary at Phalen last year because of the Ice Harvesting going on and the small bits of construction near the vollyball area. But as we moved towards the wildflowers I was more comfortable with it.
I was there today....it's NOT fun and interesting for KIDS...we're all kids, but plenty of folks want to bring their, as some ethnic groups say,: KEEEDs. BUTT....I have a good idea of what's there just in case....I'm wrong...and even though I'm a former clue writer...I could be wrong..no one is infallible...but white christmas/bing crosby..just too obvious..AND too many places for the Keeds to get lost down there. We need a playground..or rink..don't ya tink?
I'm going to head for the covers for a bit. I have the alarm set for near clue time. Need to catch some quick zzzzzzs. It's too early in this process to be sleep deprived.
Not sure if it's relevant or not - talked to my Step Dad today - he confirmed what I had thought before - that on Hamline and County Rd C - there used to be a feed store that was next to the tracks - and on that same rail line many years ago - they used to ship (along with the feed) 300 pound blocks of ice by rail car that were pulled out of the lake at central park.
I am impressed that I remember something so random.
It's no longer there - but refrigerator's are... any place in line-sight of a park that makes / sells the refrigs / deep freezes?
Hey guys and some gals...who knows...maybe scoot rhymes with HOOT...like...ERS....you may be lucky..is there one on 7th street near Crosby? P.S. didn't you mom ever tell you NOT to eat snow..it has fallout in it...
I'm sticking with BC as my #1 with Crosby #2 and God only know's as #3. I wouldn't put it past the clue writers to hit at Crosby in the second clue, just becuase we're all saying "No, they wouldn't give the park away that early" At the same time maybe it's just a red herring. They seem to like those too. Hopefully the 3rd clue points towards the park and not what it's in. I'd rather be searching for somethign I don't konw what it looks like in the right park, than know what I'm looking for and not have any idea what park to go to.
Highland has a year-round ice rink.

There are no new messages.
When you want to check again for anything new, just click Check Messages.
Well with that, I'm outta ear
but Highland doesn't really have many paths....'along it's paths you may while time away'
Might be a reference to something on the paths vs. you using the path.

ask CM
I decided not to do it cuz I won it last year, I think CM has a list but I'm not sure how it works.
think we all learned that the hard way at como the year before last;)

seethe fire rings were being dug out at cuomo while driving to the vet... i suppose there's only one way to build a fire

Believe it or not, in real life Steve's the straight man.
