Not sure about what you would hear though....the river typically isn't *too* loud, especially from Mounds, or Crosby....Haven't ever been close enough to the falls at HF in the summer time to know if that's loud (isn't that sad?!)...
I'm actually not to familliar with Hidden Falls. There ARE falls in hidden falls right? Wouldn't that be something you'd be more likely to hear, rather than just a river?
NOTE TO HUNTERS: The newest Medallionator will be revealed on the website tonight!!! check before morning at www.Medallionators.comfor more information!
There are falls, yes, but also don't know if those are running or frozen over. I'm sure you'd here them if they were running. If you are driving south on Mississippi River Blvd, the falls are after the Ford plant and at a curve in the roafd just before the North entrance, I think. I'll check that out tomorrow too.
I'm thinking the "frozen water" in the second clue and the "figure" (figure skating) in tonight's means that they are talking more about an ice rink than a body of water
How come I have an extra number next to the red flag for this page? It always says one more than are actually in here. Is there an secret, secret thread??
In the THG map of HF north half, Steve mentions that every new year's day there is a water skiing event in this part of the river, "if the ice bergs aren't too big". So the river must not usually be frozen over at that location
Steve also describes"rustic paths lead you through massive woods just west of the creek between the final two bridges. Gook luck hunting for treasure over there".
Sounds like the kind of place it was hidden the last two years . . .
Hidden Falls is at the waters edge and has cliffs. Indian Mounds isn't really at the waters edge, is it?

it can't be underground.....it can't be somewhere where you would have to dig under the ground
it can be under snow, leaves - that kind of stuff but not under the ground
ares, it says I'm using an invalid password or user ID. And I'm not. :(
What would be heard and perhaps feared that was "here before we moved in"? The river? Holman field?Â
Hello everyone!!
I am thinking mounds or BC
The river is what you here and its been here for thousands of years. Do you here it in the winter? Is it frozen over?
whats your theory there lisa612
Maybe this clue is telling us to stay away from the cliffs and the water's edge in the park, not that there is no cliff or waters edge in the park.
It was there before we moved in, not here.
No cliff, no cherokee..does bc have any cliffs...?? No waters edge..no crosby...
but they are building LOTSA LOTSA townhomes right around the corner from crosby.."before we moved in means they're being built right now"...
Maybe Highland..since this massive construction sight is near to it also...what about the hearing thing??? Any sound companies around there???
 Mounds because Indians
and BC for water park and large flag pole
can be seen lots of other things im trying to put it togethrt i will post it in a min

I agree Stallion. That's why I think HF fits.Â
Yeah, it's gotta be ther river. The mississippi doesn't freeze over does it?

Goodnight everyone..see you tomorrow at Mound or BC...

The Kaposia band of Mdewakanton Dakota had a village at Battle Creek if you're looking for indians.
This one makes me think it would be a park without a lake or cliffs

Fun Outta! I'm glad you went. I thought you might have when you left here.

lot's of paved trails in HF

No, I meant that you got quiet. And that was shortly after Lil offered you a ride.
I don't think this means anything, but doesn't it seem odd that the second and fourth lines of the clue don't rhyme. That just bugs me.

Wouldn't it be cool if it were hidden in HF this year, seeing as how Zephyr's grandpa found it there in '54?
Battle Creek....gun fire...don't fear it if you hear it....
some kind of wild animal?

Nice turnout tonight at the PP
Yeah, it's definetely a change in rhyme scheme from the first two clues
I can think of a few places to go look now..
How many would you guess were there?
That would be cooler, Stallion!
I'm feeling clueless, in the dark and stumped with this clue. It's open to way more interpretation than even we're likely to give it.
23 hours till the next clue.Â
Goin 4 the joe
How come I have an extra number next to the red flag for this page? It always says one more than are actually in here. Is there an secret, secret thread??
I would guess somewhere around 30-35 people
Hidden Falls will be my park for the day tomorrow. I can't think of any place yet that fits as well.
In the THG map of HF north half, Steve mentions that every new year's day there is a water skiing event in this part of the river, "if the ice bergs aren't too big". So the river must not usually be frozen over at that location
Don't give up hope Terry!!! There's still lots of noodling to do between now and then!
wonder if the 2nd half of that clue has an anagram in it night for now. early hunting at hidden falls and bc too bad they are way accross town.
Interesting Stallion. Thanks for the tidbit.
Goodnight Ev1 maybe see
some of you in the parks tomorrow :.)
If it was light out I could look outside and tell you if the river is frozen. I don't pay much attention to it.
Steve also describes"rustic paths lead you through massive woods just west of the creek between the final two bridges. Gook luck hunting for treasure over there".

Nite Neck
I keep chasing a red flag and there are no new posts. Anyone else having that problem?
