Well, I finally got caught up on this thread. The regular one will have to wait I'm afraid - might never see daylight otherwise.
I'm liking HF more and more, but not ready to jump on any one park yet. I might do a couple drive by's tomorrow evening, if time permits. I'm trying to simplify, but I don't know if the clue is saying look IN a park with cliffs & water's edge but not nearby.....or in a park without those elements.
I'm not 100% sold on HF being what is heard, but sounds as good as any. The river near downtown (Mounds area) is not frozen over all the way, but close.
Thinking I'd better hit the bed.....4:30 comes mighty early (and I took a nap tonight!).
well.... after noodling all the way home from the pp tonight.. I am off to bed.. gotta get up for work in 5 and a half hours. Good thing tmrw is my last working day this week :)
"What's that you hear?" Is the clue writer speaking directly to the hunters about some rumor or something. What are some of the rumors that could refer to? "It was here before we moved in". We meaning the PP?  Something that was where the PP building stands now? A stretch I know.
I tried to sleep, but couldn't. ILike alot of your noodles. "neither cliff nor water's edge" Could that mean to look BETWEEN the two? That would narrow it down to Crosby & HF. Are there any more like that?
Man, I still gotta get an exam off to the printer before I go to bed. I think I'm gonna check out HF on the way to class tomorrow though.
call me
OT - I'm not having that issue.Â
From HF, Fort Snelling is visible.Â
Some history can be found at this site:Â http://www.mnhs.org/places/sites/hfs/history.html

Time for Bed. Happy hunting and see you all tomorrow night.
Now that could very well be the case.
Noodling Fort Snelling...
That would be considered "there" from Hidden Falls. Hmmmmmmmm
Goodnight Mom! I'm headed out too. I had a 45 minute nap that I almost didn't get up from to see this clue.Â
SCDs to coolerheads everywhere!
Wish I could be a fly on the wall in the invitational......

Night Terry!Â
One more post and then I can go to bed...
Second clue says the water is frozen, so the third clue can't be refering to the Miss as what you hear. I'm going in circles.

Back to business here. How many more ways can I make the clues fit BC? lol
SCD's Terry! I like the Fort Snelling noodle.
Since when did everyone get a sense of humor???? LOL

You!
What you said was funny!
FYI, the reason I say that is because I was just physically threatened by east side digger.....

Outta
Posted in the wrong thread.
I was saying in the other thread that the phrase, "it was here before we moved in" might mean the building that stood where the PP stands now.Â
Two good examples, queen
The PP building was built in 1955. Doesn't say what was in that space before that.
I tried to sleep, but couldn't. ILike alot of your noodles.
"neither cliff nor water's edge"

You can see Fort Snelling from both, too.
Please have no fear = Be brave?
Good one, KT!Â
