Morning everyone! I gotta agree with something Tim said earlier, that the next few clues will probably not narrow it down one bit (assuming we have the park right, which I think we do).
I also really like the tunnel of terror noodle.
So let's all get out there and dig the hell out of that park!!!
If you had wrote a clue like this one....you'd be very proud of the clue....the overall writing the idea the poets, generals, etc.......its a good clue if IMHO.
but....if thats the case...why would you SPOIL it by giving us something sooo easy as "white christmas".........?

I too have serious aprehension about the clear indication of Crosby this early. It just seems too easy...then again, empirical data would suggest that the "park clincher clue" is inversely proportional to the vastness of the park. There's got to be a theorem in there somewhere!
I think you're right about Acorn. My only hang-up is the "field generals" clue. I can't seem to fit that one to Acorn. The rest of them fit. Maybe I'll have to take a skate around at Acorn this afternoon and mull it over. :)

As usual, i looked back at the clues from previous hunts to see if there are any similarities or common themes that are mentioned for a particular park. It was harder this time cuz the puck has never been hidden at crosby but it has been at HF twice, in 1993 & 1954. a few things jumped out at me.

There was an awesome spot that we walked by last night. It's the perfect spot to dig even at this early stage of the game when they really don't point out such a spot. I'm sure I'll bring lights and shovels tonight just to dig a little to feel like I've made some effort anyway. My guess is that 3M is out there right now diggin up the area around that spot. I'm gonna bring out the GPS too so we'll at least find something tonight. After we get the clue we can call it the 'Caravan To Crosby'

St. Paul is filled with references to British historical figures that were involved with royalty. I know that by Crosby half the street names refer to prominent figures of British history. You could make a case for a lot of those names, not just Warwick.

WHy have 2 clues that point to the park by clue 4??? One or the other must be wrong.... you would think...
