itsinmypocket - I know it's at Cherokee, I just don't understand why so many people think it's at Mounds. It does seem odd though that they would put it in Cherokee since it wasn't too long ago that it was there - same with mounds.

Elsinore, why did you rule out Cherokee?

Sat, 01/31/1998 - 7:55 PM Permalink
Elsinore

I don't think it ever got answered -- Where is Ivy Park?

The bread dough makes sense. The diaper was hard to see in the snow, but bread will be eaten by squirrels, birds, etc. A Medallion sandwich in a Rose pasta container? I have considered Wonder bread bags as well.

Remember a couple of yrs back when the clues somehow spelled out 'como park'? Has anyone checked for that this year?

We don't see how they could put it in a small park. The park has to accomodate for the number of people.

2S; Do you live by C.P.?

It spelled Batttle Creek, does not work this year.

I believe that was the Battle creek park one... The clues spelled out battle when a group of women found it...

its been checked to no avail

Could anyone give me directions to Cherokee? I will be coming from Mounds.

2sis', you are correct mam's

Its not going to be in a park that no one knows about: Its not like they dont want you to find it

crazie horse

animals cannot detect frozen bread dough

AMD: Do you know where the high bridge is?

I'm on the theory that the double division will narrow it within the park, not just identify the park. I was there last night, the undug places seemed unlikely (of course, NOTHING should be unlikely). You cant see the smoke stack from most of the good places.

I'm not too closed-minded, but I'm just not associating the double division to Cherokee. To me, that leaves Mounds as the best spot. I think the city streets are Urban and Suburban.

Crazie Horse: You deserve the medallion! Are you a zoologist?

Sat, 01/31/1998 - 8:02 PM Permalink
AMD

Yes, but I don't know how to get on it

Does anyone think that the next clue will be a double clue?

Greg Sax, are you out there!

Sat, 01/31/1998 - 8:03 PM Permalink
Itsinmypocket

Els: You're just putting SOME of the clues 2gether 4 mounds, but ALL of them fit 4 C.P.

Sat, 01/31/1998 - 8:03 PM Permalink
Itsinmypocket

Greg Sax and all of the other jackasses (Joe Medallion, Snowball2, R.C.)-They haven't been here 4 quite some time now.

Urban and Suburban are Urban and Suburban streets. There are 6 streets named after cities that run into or border Cherokee.

Sat, 01/31/1998 - 8:06 PM Permalink
Neonblue

Suburban borders BAttle creek, too.

Lori: Point taken. how about masking the smell with rubbing alcohol or some other clear substance animals cannot tolerate.

Sat, 01/31/1998 - 8:07 PM Permalink
Lori Franklin

How did Suburban come into play?

Sat, 01/31/1998 - 8:08 PM Permalink

It's no wonder your called crazie.

Someone mentioned that Mounds has the streets urban and suburban.. To make the story even more correct Suburban borders Battle Creek... I don't think it's there, though.

I don't buy the frozen bread dough theory, but I dont have a reason why.

All of the clues are vauge, so everyone is associating them to the large parks. No one has dug them up, cuz there is nothing specific.

I have to say last nights clue threw me off of Mounds, but all of the other clues fit as good or better than Cherokee. I'm a skeptic on any park until 11:35, but I'll still eat the paper if its at Cherokee

Sat, 01/31/1998 - 8:09 PM Permalink
Itsinmypocket

I think that it will be in a bread bag,not in frozen bread or whatever the hell you guys are talking about

Sat, 01/31/1998 - 8:09 PM Permalink
Lori Franklin

Crazie Horse: How about - They baked the bread and shellacked it!

Sat, 01/31/1998 - 8:09 PM Permalink
Patrick Budion

I'll eat the paper if it fits Mounds.

Sat, 01/31/1998 - 8:11 PM Permalink
Elsinore

Baked bread! That would be SO COOL! I'd eat my way there!

Sat, 01/31/1998 - 8:11 PM Permalink
Lori Franklin

Itsinmypocketnow: Crazie Horse believes the medallian is enclosed in bread dough.

do you folks realize that there were only about 100 hits on this site last year, I think

Sat, 01/31/1998 - 8:12 PM Permalink
Elsinore

Step right up folks! Place your bets! Who will eat the St. Paul Pioneer Press! Elsinore eats it if its in Cherokee, Pat B if its in Mounds! Now taking bets!

(What the hell am I doing!?!? I'm in the minority here!)

Bets being taken until 11:25PM. No rescinding your bets after the next clue!

What about Water Street being below the bluff from CP?

Sat, 01/31/1998 - 8:21 PM Permalink
Elsinore

Crazie - I've never heard that anything about a frozen slice of bread not eminating a scent if it has bee frozen. Now UNBAKED bread I could understand, but that would be a pain in the nec to get out. Actually, that rather SUPPORTS that theory! Importantly, I have no working knowledge of the subject, but I bake bread at home a lot.

Hoosline- You indicate to have an inside edge. If you KNOW where it is, you've either got it, or you're gonna throw us false clues. Otherwise, why get on the Cooler? So my guess is you have a hunch and are waiting for it to be confirmed. Any chance you would enlighted us mere diggers?
