totally saw you! what was that gizmo? GPS? how does that help? you should have stopped and said hi. anyone should! i'm shy forcing myself on new people.
i'll probably be out there again tomorrow. you think it's that deep in those woods?
if anyone ever wants a hunting partner at crosby, let me know, i live just off 7th and otto.. so we could even warm up at my place between outtings! (email me! erica@oriongirl.com)
Looks like I'm going to be heading out to the park after all. I'll probably get there in about an hour and a half. I'm bringing someone who has better equipment than I do, so maybe I'll have a shot.
He has head lamps and better flashlights for seeing at night. He does a lot of cave exploring. I'm bringing my shovel and my "tweezers". I sent you an email with my cell phone if you want to try and hook up.
Look for a branch/fallen tree, with lichen/moss along the trail where you are going to have to hike to (From what I read there are several trees or branches that fit this category) from the parking area. The second half of the clue is to head in the direction "not helter skelter" but with a purpose toward the solid shelter with room and wood to burn.
Later clues will reveal the distance that must be traveled or the landmarks within the park that will border the medallion.
This is taking the clue literally since Crosby is such a large park to search. Â
I am in Eau Claire right now attending college so I will help out the best I can. Im commin home this weekend to help dig. How is it that people came about crosby so fast? Helter Skelter?
Doesn't seem like anyone else has noticed this, but I saw this little memorial on a tree today at Crosby. It was just off of one of the main walking paths, facing straight out. If you walk from the fire ring shelter out toward the small shelter, then this memorial is on your right hand side, toward the river, about 200 feet before you reach the small shelter
I really gotta stop overthinkin'.....i don't care what park anymore...
where coolerchicks go....I go....enough said....
I knew I shouldn't have gone home......oh wait....I might be glad I did....
I'm impressed with IAN...he was back in the park at 1030am....geez.......and the weekend isn't even here yet.......
Â
It concerns a creepy, psycho, hook-hand guy who has escaped from an asylum and a couple in lover's lane.Â

Nice JOE evildoer.....
I'm going see ya all at great waters tonight....unless I find out the coolerchicks are in a park....

I'm heading down to the park now- Hope to see all you there by the fire!!!
Not going to the bar KT??
Here is my two cents for today's clue.
The clue looks more like a directional clue.

Echo-echo-echo! Everyone must be hunting pretty hard.
yeah.. wonder if they'll all be too busy for the next clue...

How do you get the picture to appear in your post instead of just the link?
I thought the medallion was on Medicine lake this year. :)
wow, guess everyone's down at Great Waters already...
I still have to finish slogging - but I wanted to make two points for highland before i forget them - so forgive me if they are already thought of
Is Treasure fit for kings - the 1954 chest was hidden at Highland - it was a treasure chest.
In the 1986 hunt clue 9 (also highland) to the treasure of a king
coincidence?
Better take my *joe*

Good Evening!
Long day behind me. Thank goodness tomorrow is Finally Friday! A full weekend of digging coming up.

I just got done reading thru 300+ posts. My eyes are like bugging out of my head.Â
Now just have to wait for the next clue.Â
Just the usual random nuts?
