lol the other night I had the strangest dream... I told Clue Master about it at the press last night... I had been out looking for the medallion, came home and I noticed this bump under my carpet... so I pull back the carpet... and there was the medallion. OMG I'm so lame. ROFLMAO
hey I don't recall seeing this noodle while I was slogging, and if I over looked it I apologize.. but what if.. the whole "fit for a king" thing... was maybe a reference to the King of Rock N Roll.. .Elvis.. or the King Of Pop Michael Jackson.... I'm just tryin to keep an open mind on different things.. like it being in a CD case or something..
yuppers I couldn't agree more with ya Zeph.. and now I'm off to take a hot shower.. maybe it'll help my headache go away... think I might have a sinus infection... yuck!
But I am going to go waaaaay out on a limb here just to get a different spin on this...
The Siren Calls ( when a goal is made )the giant falls (russia) 'Tween field generals, the poet sings (sweet victory) that down beyond the once blue pond (a lot of made their start here) is treasure fit for kings (Stanley cup)...
Ok, I don't really buy it, and I know that I have too many references drawn here, but hmmmm.... it goes to show that in any of these clues, we could have a totally different meaning...
k yeah.. I'm gonna have to kick my hubby's ass... being sound asleep and not knowing he took a bath.. AND USED UP ALL THE HOT H20.. I get in the shower and it's cold :(
I saw this noodle earlier, and I have to agree, the comma in the "helter skelter" is placed weirdly. It's making "helter skelter" the subject of the sentance.
well I know right behind the pavillion down at crosby would be a perfect hiding place.. I just really wish they'd stop hiding it in the damn woods... ugh it gets old after a while!
There used to be a ski jump in the ravine across the street from the So. St. Paul High School that my little friends and I would climb and play dolls up there.
ok, If I did or said anything to hurt anyones feelings lastnight in Crosby -I am very sorry -Â anyone? :(
no headache here- but I think I was still tipsy at 9 am. you would think by my age I would know better than to mix my drinks as well. a hand full of us did that last night. I personally was soo excited that I wasnt even keeping track of how much I consumed. drink talk, talk drink, drink some more. geesh!
I was trying sooo hard to stay warm, listen to the convesation around the firepit and not fall asleep or get sick! Thanks for keeping my feet from burning guys.
lol me2 I had more fun watching you... lol I know that sounds bad... but it was funny... it's ok ya didn't say anything to offend me.. believe ya me if ya did, I'd letcha know right then and there ;) at least you're a happy drunk tho.. lol I had so much fun last night, it was nice w/a fire. We should do that again tonight... and make smores or something!! BTW.. lol my butt didn't actually thaw out until later on this morning. My pants were frozen all the darn way home!
I have a feeling that I am way off, the more and more I look at this... I wish I could just drive around a bit. That is usually when inspiration hits, as I daydream about the medallion, memorize the clues, and race from park to park.... just scouting
I don't know if you said anything, but I caught wind of some lady dancing around with pants on her head stopping random cars asking for m&m's down at Crosby over the police wire last night ;)
I dedicate this noodle to green. Are the RR yards across hgwy 61 from Battle Creek considered a "branch" line? A branch line is a RR line connected to a trunk line.
what about from Millets new book - Strnage Nights - are there any references to deaths at Crosby? I havnt read the book yet-but I have skimmed through it and it looks wonderful. shows dead bodies in it.
First I'll admit it's been a long time since I had to read The Oddyssey in high school, but didn't the siren's song lure Odysseus off course on his journey home?
No. He somehow already knew about the sirens and their tendency to lure sailors to their doom, so he had all his men cover their ears so they couldn't hear it. But he himself was curious so he had his men tie him to the mast of the ship and ordered them to ignore anything he said to them (like they could hear him anyway) and they managed to get past the sirens without incident.

I think the medallion is moving...
lol shadddup!!! You're not supposed to make fun of me :P haha I'm kidding
Â
I agree KT clues can fit
many parks some better than others
but a person can maje them fit any park really
It wasn't in the big pile of snow the city plow left in my sidewalk either.

Looking at the style points, 2 doesn't fit at all, and 4 feels funny too... the first line is way too long... Something funny here??
yuppers I couldn't agree more with ya Zeph.. and now I'm off to take a hot shower.. maybe it'll help my headache go away... think I might have a sinus infection... yuck!
I don't know about you, Zephy - saw your Mom here... But I don't have a Clue #4. I've got a Clue #43!!! :D
Yup.
Elvis rocks!!

trying to get the creative juices flowing...
Did they tear down, or did it burn down, the big ski jump at Bat Creak?
You saw my Mom here??
posting??
I saw "Zephs mom" listed under 'Who's Here?' Didn't see a post, just her name. That's her, rite?
I climbed to the top of that ski jump a few times. It was kind of scarey.
:(

Â
OT, how'd you get down??????
like it's using helter skelter as a noun, instead of an adverb.
when marks is the word you want... even though the x is quotated...
Well, I sure as heck didn't come down on skis!! There were steps built into the side of the run.
well I know right behind the pavillion down at crosby would be a perfect hiding place.. I just really wish they'd stop hiding it in the damn woods... ugh it gets old after a while!

"Don't run, Helter Skelter, seek..."
Like, "Don't run, Cindy Lou, seek..."
I wonder... First line has three:
branch,
lichen
a place made for hikin'
Â
Third line has three:
don't run,
helter skelter,
seek solid shelter
Three t's in the last clue...
What's with the three's????
gooood
