anyone is IN if they want to be IN - we just need to all be comitted to be in to make this thing worth while - we could start a long tradition here!! one thats passed down to our kids etc, blah blah blah
I wonder if we couldn't just RENT a firetruck for the 2 weeks of the winter carnvial. Most fire departments have old trucks that they just use for parades and such, maybe we could convince them to let us use it if we do some community service project or just rent it and we could do a fundraiser, I dunno.
mmmm.. could see if Krispy Kreme wants in on the action.. maybe they'd donate a truck to use for a couple weeks.. they're larger and ya got the KK thing goin on, perhaps green donuts...
I think we need to be more creative than just copying the Vulcans.
we are for one letting women join up - we are not dead set on a uniform - only suggestions at this point - black cape with logo etc....
I threw in the idea to rip them off to a point but we don't have to - i just think we need to make this carnival a real carnival like it used to be!! or like many other carnivals who have long standing KREWE traditions etc....
