Ok- Hello. That work stuff sucked up all my time.
I WANT a CAPE!!!! With the "new" cooler logo, the one of the old logo, with the snow on top. AND reflective tape on the bottom.
That could be for the cooler chicks.
The guys can do the fireman jackets.
The capes would be cooler, cuz you could still dress for the weather indoors, or out, and it would be like an "accessory"
Of course, in public gatherings, tiaras & crowns could be worn.
Maybe with a "you Dig?" incorporated somehow....

I'm ALL FOR CAPES & TIARAS!!!!

K T - What about the keg?

Sat, 02/05/2005 - 2:06 PM Permalink
KT

No keg, but my annoying sweet child is donating some colt 45- eeewwwww.

Payme- I think that because it's so out of the sun down there, there "should " be some snow. Otherwise, bring extra clothes for the kids, cuz it's gonna be sloppy!

Just so you know... People go to the less crowded aisles at Wal-Mart so they can pass gas. PEW! It happens all the time. Why can't they go to the infants department to do that? Why can't Wal- Mart have a 'farting aisle'?

JOE!
and joe did NOT let one...

I may end up at the Great Waters after the parade if thats where people are going-that is what I heard through the Coolervine but dont quote me on it

I have already had Sam Adams today- Went to see No Time For Cold Feet again and laughed to tears!

Sweet Me2- I hope there's still some snow! ...although I'm not arguing with this weather...
Wait till you see this years' door prizes!
See you! Have fun at the parade!
If Dan and I go, it will be incognito.

I believe the blue color on the logo was more to coordinate with the water cooler bottles that represent the 2 Os in cooler.  Blue is often the color or water or is represented as such.

Those are water cooler bottles? I thought they were kegs of beer. ; )

Thinking of cleaning up Crosby brings to mind chain saws to help clean up some of that downed wood

Don't think they will let you do that. It is a flood plain preserved in a natural state as mention on the sign. Bringing a chainsaw will get you thrown in the hooskow real quick. Not a good image for the cooler crew.

I like the logo we have and "you dig" for the other logo. I like a head band idea or on scarves etc. I really thought you were all kidding about the capes and such. Count me out of that stuff. The cooler has remained the same for a long time and I don;t think we need to have an "inner circle" approach or be flashy etc. Whats wrong with being normal? The freindliness and welcoming attitude is what we are in my opinion. As far as a new logo why not the one up top of this page with snow? I like the bolder letters with square edges. But what do I know anyways, right?

well as far as I know-many went to eat after the movie - I only know that we are meeting at Great Waters after the parade (if its not too packed on a Sat night) -

Last weekend we then tried Rockin Lobster and it was packed so down to the Buttery we went-now that place has grown on me- I like the dispensers in the bathroom ;)

so if for some reason you dont see anyone you know at one place you should have good skills by now to HUNT US DOWN ;) haha

Blurry me2 twins who hunt in the dark. That's why the cooler chicks need capes with reflective markings.
Then MMM can see shimmering me2twins hunting in the dark, and find next year's medallion.

Not that we should do that...but that was the first thing that came to mind when we first entered that park a couple years ago.  All that downed wood.  Up north, we are always careful to try to keep that cleaned up so as not to add fuel to any fire that might start up.

Besides - that's a fair amount of work and lots of chain saw blades!

...hmmm- so the abandoned aisle farting is universal, and not delegated to specific places where I happen to be???

I dispute that. It seems to me that whenever I am in a store, I find the 'magical aisle' where people fart.
Maybe it's me. Do I have some sort of presence that moves peoples bowls to pass gas?
If I do...is this a good, or a bad thing?
And does the urban dictionary have an explanation?
What I mean to ask is- do you have to subscribe, and divulge your e-mail address to change the definition of suisare?
Because I can, you know. And I feel confidant I could add an entire line of puzzlement to any redandnater sites known to man.
I've done it before, I can do it again.
Puzzlement and idiocy could be my middle name, for all you know.
By the way- russellfreedom.com is a brainchild of my annoying windbag son I know as Matt. He developed that site almost 10 years ago.
Edit away!!! Be a pirate!!! Go to the re-hash!!!
suisare be damned!

if you added to the red and nater site they wouldnt know what hit them and the red and nater boys will love russell freedom so thats your son..maybe your carry some of that fuzzy gherkin aura with you and you should join the oysterking group and confuse the real oysterking whose name ive borrowed he never knows what hits him

OK- Here it is. I do not think we should bring a chainsaw into the woods.
Rotting wood is an integral part of the ecology.
HOWEVER! I have a cheezy electric chainsaw that can be used to cut to size any dry wood that can be dragged to the fire pit.
That's not really cheating, nor compromising the integrity of mother nature in action... I KNOW! there's plenty of wood to rot, & not interfere with the nature of things.
Just because it's "woods" does not give us rights to interrupt the integrity of what nature plans.
There are micro-organisms that will give their life to make us a warm fire.
I feel strongly that a balance of "stolen wood" and Bought wood should be achieved.
....So there.
And! You all KNOW how I love fire.

...ummm-we could burn all the yarrow....

I honestly think their is more farting at a wal-mart vs. a Marshall-Fields.....

but I'd bet there is more at Home-Depot then Wal-mart...

Kitch- I want alot of things. I get things I never expect. (see tagline.)

I was just saying that I have a small electric chainsaw that would hjelp downsize any stolen wood from the woods. :P

The Vulcans must have won the yearly battle.  We heard the fireworks going off while we were making our stuff for the RHB.

The past couple of days have given me spring fever.  I'd love for winter to be a thing of the past from this point forward.  Ain't gonna happen though.

That's not very optimistic, Terry!

We heard the fireworks too.  Seemed louder -- must be the lack of vegetation.  We all went upstairs to see what we could see.  Not as good as being there, but better than just hearing 'em!

Hehehehehe

I don't know if that's pessimistic or a reality check.  It's the 5th of February in Minnesota.  What chance is there that winter is really over?!?

I'm not sure I can remember all the details of the posts of the past day or so....but regarding the "cooler" stuff to wear and changing the logo (??!!) - can't remember all the ideas that were flying or to whose credit
<sorry>!

IMHO, I don't want to see our group get so carried away with logos and branded clothes that we forget who we are!  We have a logo already (like Terry said).  I guess it never occured to me that it might need some updating, or freshening up.....but if that is the consensus, I have to say ESD's version is rather nice.  The snow on top of the letters is a nice touch.

I also think that we should try come up with a single smaller image that can be used for the accessories.....assuming that is a direction that people want to go.  The big "cooler crew" would never look right on most clothing items.  The two C's that I saw (also ESD?) I don't think are really recognizable......but with all the talent that exists here, I'm sure we should be able to come up with something.

I remember seeing one post about how we need to be "high profile".  I believe it was something like "High profile people tend to make things happen."  Um.....HELLO!  You guys have made some FABULOUS things happen this year.....and so far as I know we're not "high profile".
