Thanks for the star pix too OTiS. I spent the last hour trying to draw straight lines between the trees and decided to go with your star instead. Cool stuff I tell you.
<edit> Damn it! You did it to me the way Ian did it to Scribe!

right on about the star, too... real eerie in the middle of the night...
I cant beleive nobody thought of Mounds with "FROM A SPOT WITH A LONG VIEW OF HISTORY" ! I did as soon as I read the clue. I should have been there with you guys! Of course I would have been somewhere else the next day as usuall. Terry said the long veiw was the river as did KC. They were close. All I thought of was how long the park is and how long the veiw is of the skyline. Of course I'm reading this a week later after the fact. I'm really bummed I missed it! Wish I knew it was coming up.
Nice to see some new people here too!
Crap...now I spose the med won't be there next year...
I have to give Tim credit on the diplomatic way he gave the writers a jab here. Maybe we can look for snippy response in this years WC hunt :ooh:
I think the "crueler crew we never knew" one was evidence of that....
they write clues that jab at us, and then one of us finds one of their hunts, and gives it right back to em.
Like you would know...
i could have been in a park, at night, with cooler crew chicks, NOT wearing hats and parkas?
BTW: I bought "Sin City" cuz of you and your avatar, and I want you to know it sucks!
Hy THX thats a nice coat
not exactly why i'm posting this..
omg...tim's got an action figure already..

You know you're in trouble if ESD likes your coat.
Its not hard to become a part of us....hang out online, hang out at GW, hang out at paper, and dig in the parks...its simple....
we don't bite.........well ClueMaster does...but not hard.
I got a funny story to tell of what happened at the witching hour. So there I am DEEP in zone three with my own little strategy for victory. (worked just peachy!) Anyway the hubby (Pete-tato) just left to go the PP to get the paper. About 2 min. later all these cars are zooming down Burns and I'm thinking "Ah crap he's gonna get there too late." So after realizing none of you were running in my general direction, I walked to the path near English St. and there is this old couple in their car about 10 yards behind mine. The lady rolls down her window and yells in that annoying Edith Bunker voice "ARE YOU WITH THOSE OTHER GUYS?" I'm like "Huh?" I was confused if she was another cooler or a hunter wondering if I was a cooler. So then another car pulls up behind them and 2 kids get out and I asked them if the clue came out, they said yes I yelled "SH!T" and they darted off down the street. To tell you the truth I was so preoccupied with what was going on over the hill, that I couldn't comprehend what she wanted from me. "WHAT IS GOING ON AROUND HERE? ARE YOU WITH THOSE TWO GUYS?" Again I'm distracted and I realize her husband is on the phone. It finally dawns on me that these 2 old farts are way to old to be flag hunting. So I filled them in on what was going on, "Oh my, we saw 2 men run off into the woods with flashlights up to no good and so we called the police" Right then I hear her husband say "Sorry officer, It's all been a misunderstanding". I assured them this was a sponsered event all in good clean fun. Her voice turned sheepish and a "Sorry" came at that point realizing that they probably made much ado about nothing. (yeah, people up to no good carry flashlights for all to see. :goofy: ) About the time the pulled away hubby called with the clue. And about the time I got my chubby butt up the trail to the lookout, you all were probably in your cars on the way to the PP.
Anyway it was great finally meeting some of the coolers. This is the first hunt I've posted on this message board. I've been hunting for 3 years but have posted on the PP board. That board bites though, for every avid hunter there are a dozen jack offs making moronic junior high posts. This board ROCKS!!!
we get that 2....but I've got a feeling it won't be as bad this year....
sounds like geocaching to me... are they doing weeknight caching yet?
Whoa...I'm gonna have to double check if she's adopted.
I showed her Tim's picture in the paper because she didn't believe me at first.
When Pierre moved from the outskirts of Ft. Snelling to LambertÂ’s Landing it was said that he had a saloon. Do you know if there is a candy store or other shops that are now located near where his saloon was at? Any historical monuments about Pierre Parrant in St. Paul? Thanks for your help!
