It's time for the Medallion Hunt! The first clue will appear on PioneerPlanet just after midnight Saturday, Jan. 22. Come back here to compare notes with other treasure seekers, but be certain you read the rules on the Planet's Winter Carnival page.

It's my son at the U. Daughter is at Augsburg. I have pictures...remind me about that on Sunday.
I only just got my computer in November, so this was the first year I got to be on line for all of this. It was alot of fun and I look forward to doing it next year!! Might
I wish I could have found the medallion. Then people could have said "And I would have found it, if it weren't for those medalling kids!" Like everyone else, I am off
whats up every one... of course i had to work when i wanted to explore the north side of the park today... left at 3pm... was anyone close to him when he found
it??? and just a note... these clues sucked big time... somehow "a translucent peak" meant you could see 2... the large red object HIGH IN THE SKY was 3m sign
and not the "sun-ray" shopping sign... 9,5,somewhere 4 meant 459 address??? huh??? idiots... what did 954 have to do with keeping score??? i know theres a
scoreboard but the 954 seemed tied to the score part... oh well... just grumblings... Good Luck to all in Hunt2000
I just read the explanations of the clues and I am VERY disappointed. First off, the hockey rinks are NOT the same size. And what is the deal with the water being
on top of a 3M building and not THE water tower? I'm shocked 954 was really an address. I don't like how random words have meaning not related to the phrasing
of the clue, for example, tome referring to the library instead of the man. I think my explanations of the clues were much more poetic and they should let me write the
I also don't know how anyone could have found the medallion from these clues except by dumb luck. One clue implied it was near the library by saying YOU'd be
near your goal. It was nowhere near the library and the library was not near a hockey goal according to a normal person's definition of near. He told us to look for
frozen places of equal size that were not equal at all, and then the treasure wasn't really near there anyway. So only by randomly picking through a spot somewhere
on that end of the park could anyone hope to find it. I wish they would write these clues so that if you're clever enough, you can figure out exactly where it is, go
there, and be able to get it within 15 minutes. I also think they should give clues, no matter how hard, that would allow you to know almost exactly where the
treasure was by the third clue if you're smart enough to figure it out. But then maybe that's just me hoping the money will go to smart people and discriminating
all I can say is what kind of moron would go through all of the bother to hunt for the medallion and not spend the 3 bucks to double the prize to 10 grand?
Wow, this is the fist time that I heard someone found it. It's damn near 2:00, and I've been at work. Last time I was on was20,000 clue, 700 ago and some of those
dumb shits still didn't know it was in Conway Park. I hope it went to a vet hunter. It's been fun. This is the first thing I've been addictied to. On Line ofcourse,
yuppes, besides Freecell. Yippy! We'll Good-bye! Check back later to read some history!! CHOW
Hello cyberhunters, Just wanted to say thanks to everybody for the great information. This was my first year hunting, and I'm now addicted! I just got done writing a
paper for Theology 411: Developing a Christian Worldview, which should have been written long ago, what can I say? I had medallion fever. Wanted to give a
special thanks to Allison Wonderland, you should write the clues!! Not the jacka$$ at the PP!! Sorry, just venting my anger a little, don't know if it's from my
interpretation of the clues or the writer of the clue's interpretations! Also would like to thank the guy from Red Wing, he was a senior in High School staying at his
friends uncles house in order to hunt. He offered his thoughts on the clues, and he was just at the wrong field otherwise this kid would have found it! Good Luck
Next Year Everyone! Maybe I'll become a member of the CoolerCrew next year, I've got the fever!!!!
congrates to aaron.. i looked sun mon and tues nites for a few hours each nite tuesday i must have been less than 10 feet from it for two hours. while everyone was

my luck continues. back to power ball .once you get the park. its just luck.but i had the park narrowed down sat.. live 3 blocks away..i bet it.ll be aty phalen next
cont. from #20780. Tromping thru the verbal trash, one can't help but notice how he goes from a jerk, to a cocky jerk! My impression is one flipping the coin at his
desk trying to decide when he should find it. These are not sour grapes!! HAIL CEASAR FINDER OF THE MED!!
AARON NIEDORF sounds fishy could it be a 1 in a million coincidence. or did he have a inside scupe.. very cocky. a real smart ass. if its the same guy.... i ran the
seach on his name didnt seem he went to look untill 5 pm
I'M not going to drop this! Reading this file history and seeing the results is NOT in the spirit of the winter carnival, or the good people trying to improve it. If your
gonna kick me where it hurts do your homework and I'll gladdly bend over. Nite Now...

We're going to be in town until Sunday, then we are heading back to Phoenix for sum fun in the sun. It was a fun hunt. Try our E-mail if you get a chance before we
go. We weren't going to get to it this year because we followed one clue down the Prim-Rose-Path instead of the Sugar-Lump-Path. Anyway, like they say, there's
always next year and hopefully we will have our Snow Waster perfected by then!!
HI!! My name is Lisa Mendenhall. I have a registered button! Too bad I didn't find it! I only looked in Newell Park because we didn't have enough time to look in
Conway. Too bad! Oh,well there are other years. All I say is have fun looking next January!! Have a nice day!!
how many of you think that this whole thing stinks? Someone care to tell me why the yarn around the medallian was clean and white when it was supposedly hide in
the snow for almost 2 weeks. On Tuesday night there were 2000 to 3000 people looking for this thing. This guy comes along, digs 10 times in the exact same place
everyone else did and he finds it? I think the PP has some tall explaining to do. I think we've all been used. I am one P.Oed subscriber, maybe the StarTrib is a
I'm very disappointed this year. Usually, I wait until the around the 9th or 10th clue to go out looking (and usually follow the crowds). This year I actually started
from the beginning and REALLY studied them. As usual, the person who found it was someone who just happened to decide to go out because everyone else was
there. Next year I have to remember to do the same. Why bother if the clues are misinterpreted early in the game?
Is anyone disappointed with the transclucent peak clue? THe peaks on SUNRAY are totally see through! Only the peak that is on the recreation center is
translucent. Also, I totally ignored the house that had the 954 address (or 495) whatever, because of the somewhere a four phrase. That led me to believe the 95
were together and then a four. I'm very disallusioned this year.
It's my son at the U. Daughter is at Augsburg. I have pictures...remind me about that on Sunday.
Goodnight.
I only just got my computer in November, so this was the first year I got to be on line for all of this. It was alot of fun and I look forward to doing it next year!! Might
come on Sunday. Sounds like fun!
Kitchica: Hope you can make it!
KangaJack: Finally - someone else who *still* thinks the clues fit Newell right to the end! Come to the rehash bash on Sunday and we'll talk.
Time for this eagle to fly! Goodnight all!
I wish I could have found the medallion. Then people could have said "And I would have found it, if it weren't for those medalling kids!" Like everyone else, I am off
to bed. Good night...
I'm bored. There's nothing to do now!
