Proclivity = Inclination = HIGHland?

Also the "take up" thing...

Too simple? Maybe I just want it to be at Highland subconsciously...

Given Diggin4's definition, a kid's major propensity is to play.

Playground.

proclivities = tendencies

kids have a tendency to play

playground at a park?
Mon, 01/23/2006 - 10:30 PM Permalink
Love4Vino

Noun 1. proclivity - a natural inclination; "he has a proclivity for exaggeration"

leaning, propensity

inclination, tendency, disposition - an attitude of mind especially one that favors one alternative over others; "he had an inclination to give up too easily"; "a tendency to be too strict"

Should. You could miss some valuable stuff. Granted, prolly won't be from me, but others here are really good noodlers.

Slow clue - Slow night.

Some were talking about hitting a place here or there but I figure I'll save it for tomorrow.

I think Cherokee is a good choice to at least scope out... isn't there a great spot where U can see pearson's?? I dunno.. it's a long shot.. but I remember there being a spot where U can see all of the downtown area, there's trees, benches, and the playground is like right around the corner...

I was going to reach and come up with vulcanized being what they used to do to tread old tires, and that having to do with the Ford plant, meaning highland.

But this seems like another straightforward landmark clue.

Okie-DOkie.. I will really really be going to bed soon...

I wonder if the reference to the St Paul (not Ramsey County) Winter Carnivals own Vulcan Krewe could be the 'ittiz in st paul' clue we were looking for?? I don't see it at Mears Park... the closest park to Alarys,

I dunno... need to wake up early...

Hi Green!

Ok - in the time it took me to look up the vulcan groping bar (Alary's) 15 new messages popped up.

So for those of us with the Vulcan carnival button, should this clue be considered good luck or bad luck? The clue does seem to be ripping on the Vulcans a bit... I think I need all the good karma I can get.

Nitey, Med2... SCD's and MCL.

Man. I got four hours sleep, missed playing with my Sims, all for this? Yet another Clue that *I* can figure out?

This scares me. I'm getting the Clues. This is not good. This is not good at all...

Damn. Why can't Millett and Boxie be doing the Clues again?

Something's wrong. These Clues are just way too straight forward. We're gonna be taken for a good ride this year, me thinks.

ok I'm thinking about all the child's proclivities posted and they are good but they don't have much to do with looking.

"You would be wise to look for the prize

By taking up a child's proclivities."

so I've just been substituting in the activities we have suggested and it doesnt make sense. i.e. look for the prize by sledding, look for the prize by swinging

so I was trying to think of something that children are naturally inclined to do that might help us and what I came up with was looking up to people/things.

look for the prize by looking up? I dunno maybe it's taped to a tree, or maybe it's at highland or who knows, I'm just throwing it out there.

I still think it's just a new way of saying playground.

If someone said Cherokee Park, its a good idea, but how does a son of peach come into play?
Mon, 01/23/2006 - 10:58 PM Permalink
green

Now that's something I hadn't thought of. That's a really good idea, Vino.

Kid's play in the dirt... Great. Pig Pen. There's fodder for the Highland contingency!

I think, not sure, that once in the past they alluded to getting down on hands and knees and having to look.

I like that noodle, Vino.

Hidden Falls will work for the Ford Motor company- and it matches clue 1. It has a beach there too by the river, and that will help match clues for the son of peach. But on the other hand, I could be starting to sound like everyone else in the past crying wolf to hidden falls.

Also, since the first time I read clue #2, I couldn't stop thinking about a really good Hamburger. - haven't tied that in yet tho.
