If they run it that close to the big hunt, I'll be going for the big hunt.

Bummer though, not too bad a prize, but for convenience, I'll take Oakdale over chanhassen anyday.

    1st Clue (Sunday, Jan. 29th)

    The game has begun within Chanhassen borders.

    In the past there were 4 but we've changed the orders.

    Explore your community, include every neighbor

    Extending your search will be worth your labor.

    In Chanhassen city limits;

    added neighborhood parks to the hunt

    2nd Clue (Monday, Jan. 30th)

    Thoughts of waves lapping gently

    May assist you, incidentally.

    Search every inch, more than 43 million square.

    This is the area that searchers will share.

    Park by a lake and

    number of square inches of the park -

    more than 7 acres

    3rd Clue (Tuesday, Jan. 31st)

    In this body of water was a lily,

    That was thought to make you feel silly.

    To the Egyptians it brought blissful dreams,

    And in their world took it to extremes.

    The lotus lily was used

    as a drug and the Egyptians used its form

    in a lot of their architecture.

    4th Clue (Wednesday, Feb. 1st)

    Giddy with success you little star?

    Hiking and biking could get you this far.

    Connect kings and judges, jester, room and appeal

    And you'll be on the way to sealing this deal.

    Connected to the trail system

    and park has some type of court(s)

    (tennis, volleyball and basketball)

    5th Clue (Thursday, Feb. 2nd)

    Rings represent the major regions of the world;

    Sasha and Johnny jumped, leapt and twirled.

    "Citius, Altius, Fortius" is the motto in Latin;

    In ideal conditions the surface is smooth as satin.

    Today at Breakfast Buddies event I talked to The Gilby Three. He hunted this, was in the park, but had to go to work. His wife was there later, found a cache very near, thought it was the treasure.

    I guess they had a funky means of delivering the clue. He got a couple early online, or something, and they were supposed to be released at 9:00 am at CUB and Rainbow?

    I'll ask him for more details, info for next year.

    FoCL MEDALLION HUNT $1500 PRIZE

    A city-wide Medallion Hunt will be held beginning Sunday,

    Jan. 28. The medallion will be hidden on public land in

    Chanhassen and a clue as to its location will be released daily at

    ByerlyÂ’s, on the FriendsÂ’ web site, and Chanhassen Library until
