There are actually 108 double stitches on a MLB Baseball. Which some people might call 216 stitches.

TITLE: It's Not Easy Being Green

Lyrics

It's not that easy being green

Having to spend each day the color of the leaves

When I think it could be nicer being red, or yellow or gold

Or something much more colorful like that

It's not easy being green

It seems you blend in with so many other ordinary things

And people tend to pass you over 'cause you're

Not standing out like flashy sparkles in the water

Or stars in the sky

But green's the color of Spring

And green can be cool and friendly-like

And green can be big like an ocean, or important

Like a mountain, or tall like a tree

When green is all there is to be

It could make you wonder why, but why wonder why

Wonder, I am green and it'll do fine, it's beautiful

And I think it's what I want to be

hey kitch, how much wood would a woodchuck chuck if a woodchuck could chuck wood?
Wed, 02/22/2006 - 7:53 AM Permalink
KITCH

The article reports on the work of New York state wildlife expert Richard Thomas, who found that a woodchuck could (and does) chuck around 35 cubic feet of dirt in the course of digging a burrow. Thomas reasoned that if a woodchuck could chuck wood, he would chuck an amount equivalent to the weight of the dirt, or 700 pounds.

KITCH

“About 2.73 cords per hour, depending upon the type of wood chucked

and the softness of said wood. Saplings take slightly less time and

are quite a bit more tasty than the older varieties. Petrified wood is

unacceptable. “

Kitch what is the first name of little red riding hood? (hint: starts with a "B") :lipsealed:
Wed, 02/22/2006 - 10:17 AM Permalink
KITCH

little red riding hood always reminded me of Charlie Brown's "red head girl"

Little Red Riding Hood is skipping down the road when she sees the Big Bad Wolf crouched down behind a log.

"My what big eyes you have, Mr. Wolf," says Little Red Riding Hood. The surprised wolf jumps up and runs away!!!

Further down the road Little Red Riding Hood sees the wolf again; this time he is crouched behind a tree stump.

"My what big ears you have Mr. Wolf," says Little Red Riding Hood. Again the foiled wolf jumps up and runs away. About 2 miles down the road, Little Red Riding Hood sees the wolf this time crouched down behind a road sign.

"My what big teeth you have Mr. Wolf," taunts Little Red Riding Hood.

With that the Big Bad Wolf jumps up and screams..."Will you get lost! I'm trying to have a crap!"

Once upon a time in a small village there lived a beautiful young girl. Her mother was a large and jolly woman who looked after her as if she was a diamond. With a great deal of love she made her a long red cape with a little bright red hood. Everywhere that she went in the village people would call her Little Red Riding Hood. She felt like a star. She even signed her homework, Little red Riding Hood, even though her real name was Imogene Gumm.

A group of engineering students from Purdue University recorded that their licking machine, modeled after a human tongue, took an average of 364 licks to get to the center of a Tootsie Pop. They tried the same licking test on 20 volunteers and found that the average licks to the center were 252 licks.

A chemical engineering doctorate student from the University of Michigan recorded that his licking machine required an average of 411 licks per Tootsie Pop.

A group of students at Swathmore School used human lickers in a scientific experiment and determined it took an average of 144 licks to get to the center of a Tootsie Pop.

The jinxee, during the jinx, has the lifeline of escaping the curse of silence by anticipating what the jinxer is going to say and saying the same thing, negating the original jinx. This is more difficult when jinxed because you can't feed questions which might produce predictable results, and if you get it wrong, you get punched. The consequence of this rule is some pretty surreal conversations between the non-jinxed as they try to avoid saying anything that could be remotely guessable.

3 guys rent a room and the guy says it's $30.00

They each throw in $10 to make $30.

A little later the desk clerk realizes the room was only $25 and gives the bell hop $5 to give back to them.

On the way to the room the bell hop can't figure out how to split the $5 three ways, so he pockets $2 and gives them each $1 back.

If they all paid $10 and each got back $1 that makes $9 each.

9X3=27 plus $2 the bell hop has.

Wheres the other dollar?

(a little later the clerk realizes it really was $30 and sends the bell hop for the money. He gets $1 from each and throws in his $2 and now it's back to $30) 25+3+2=30

The following night two friends check into the same motel. Once again the clerk charges them $30, or $15 per person. After the clerk remembers the total rate is only $25 he sends the bellhop upstairs with five $1 bills to pay the two friends back. The bellhop knows he got away with larceny once so he tries it again. But this time he pockets $3 and returns $2 to the hotel guests ($1 per guest). So each of the two guests got $1 back from their original $15. Therefore each paid $14 which is a total payment of $28 for the room. Now the bellhop has $3, the guests paid $28, for a total of $31....THERE'S THE MISSING DOLLAR!!!!

define: it

It is a 1927 romantic film which tells the story of a shop girl who sets her sights on the handsome owner of the store where she works, only to find her plan endangered when a reporter writes a story claiming she is an unwed mother. It stars Clara Bow, Antonio Moreno and William Austin. Because of this film, Bow became known as the "It" girl ("It" being a euphemism for sex appeal.)

en.wikipedia.org/wiki/It_(1927_film)

according to the magic 8 ball = don't count on "it"

actually, it depends on the sample size of each average. plus the massive differences in human lickers would lead me to believe that the licking technique wasn't the same between the two groups.

Wheres the other dollar?

We racked our brains around the fire pit for a few hours one night until we figured out the simple answer was that the total room cost was $1 more because of his tip.

$3tip-$2returned= +$1 added to original room cost

We were adding instead of subtracting forever. I love the way it's worded to make you think that way.
