# 5 is just what the medal is hidden in stud , some one through this one as a long shot , but the opposites of cloudy and foul are sunny and delightful and extracting is the ground pulling from the ground this bottle ( speak to me )

Sorry Steve,

Spam is a REAL sore spot for me. It has cost me a LOT of money and I am VERY sick of the "I don't have the money to market my product" argument. Marketing a product is just as much a part of running a business as getting the capitol to (in your case) produce the book. I thank you for your apology and even wish you luck. But PLEASE do the math. If just 1% of all the businesses in america sent you ONE spam per year, you would have over 1000 emails per DAY! I think that would effectivly kill email as a useful medium for communication.

(Now I will step off of my high horse and get back to the topic at hand)

I think that since it has been hidden at the capital mall before it can be called a park. And so far has the best fit for the clues at hand.

I love that you cats are so into the Newell thing but it just does not add up at all.

My wonderdog has already miterated upon all of Newell and it aint there!

Thu, 01/27/2000 - 8:46 PM Permalink
Terry

I'm still thinking Newell, but not passionately. Eagle Eye is around. She'll be hunting by this weekend.

So where do you think it is, Girl?

hey stud i think they are using the statue as a pinpoint to line up the location like they did at como with the dome , pool and backstop is this possible

Thu, 01/27/2000 - 8:48 PM Permalink

Roseville Oval,

Prospect Park (big towers and Tower Grocery),

Mall of America,

St Paul Park,

or Lake of the Isles ;)

(Some call me a brat!)

Thu, 01/27/2000 - 8:49 PM Permalink
Terry

I do not want to think it's the capital mall...but anything is possible.

Actually, Will, I don't see SPAM as a problem. I reserve the right to bill the spammer for both my bandwitdh and my disk space (and any necessary legal and collection fees) used to store their trash. I start getting enough of it, I'll save it and send a bill. Thankfully, I haven't gotten to that point yet.

Steve, feel free to email me announcements of new editions

Steve--I got your e-mail and your guide. Please consider this permission to continue. The guide is just amazing. However, I secretly wish you don't sell very many--better for those of us who have one.

Anybody got a Hudson's handy? Is it possible that EAST and WEST university ave meet near capitol? Noodle noodle.

Hey, I like the capitol mall idea. If it's there, I'd expect a Jesse reference sometime soon. And "opposites attract" works because opposing political philosophies meet (attract) there. But I don't see other clues fitting. I just got here, so I would appreciate hearing the full rationale for the mall.

Downtown Dave,

GOOD POINT!!! They do. Wabisha is the east west cut off. (It is Humboldt on the West Side)

think the opposites in clue 5 are mpls and st.paul of course cloudy and foul refers to mpls and so it must be at newell or somewhere where you can see mpls from

Thanks Troy and Kitty and Will. Too far from statue, however. Statue on West end of property. Regions hospital near Jackson. There is a nice overlook over the city by the east parking lot--check it out. Cool view of city. Doesn't match any clues, but its always a stop on a bike trip.

Dave. The E-W street point is Wabasha through downtown, and I believe Sylvan St. North of it. So, John Ireland may be the boundary along Constitution (and Aurora for that matter).

digby,

Prospect park is on the West Side :-) It is on the bluff overlooking downtown and Hariett island. But it is a very small park. Less than a city block.

hey ex i still say they are talking about the statue of the viking because these clues were printed a long time before the vikings loss that is not what this was talking about is was talking about the lief the viking

Prospect Park is across Smith (the high bridge) from Cherokee. It's a tiny little park...about the size of a city lot.

know where now will i think i was there another year

Thu, 01/27/2000 - 8:57 PM Permalink

Prospect park also has great view of city. They used to have those pay binonculars that you put a quarter in.....but that does not match a clue either.
