Ok my husband signed up to help raise money for an event for the MDA called locked up for good. And what it is, is we have until February 22, 2007 to raise money or Mike will be "locked up" at the local fire station for a period of time. He forgot he signed up for this and now we are scrambling to get our donations so if anyone is interested take a look at the following link. Please do not feel pressured to donate anything this is why I put it in my own CCC thread. Thanks for your support!

Continued from AV hunt Thread.

I haven't really told anyone here besides Me2 earlier tonight but my dad is in the final stages of Prostate Cancer that Metastisized to his bones. He was originally diagonsed back in 1992 they thought he was cured until January 2004 when it came back in his bones. When he was rediagnosed he was given 1-3 years which the dr's thought he realistically had maybe 6 months to a year and he's outlasted all expectations the dr's had. He is a strong fighter but he is ready to go now. Its only a matter of time before he makes his final transition.

In the past week he has finally become bed bound which was his biggest fear of all. He was such an active outdoors person that to be confined to a bed was the worst thing that could have ever happened to him. He was my inspiration for the Medallion Hunt so this year was extremely hard for me, I won't have him anymore to give me background information or little hints on where to look. Anyways just wanted you all to be aware of what was going on with me why I might not be around as much as I had hoped this winter.

hope I'm not squishing it.... I'm alright, really I am I'm taking each day as it comes and trying to help my kids go through it as easily as they can as well. I'm coming home tomorrow and then I have a super busy week coming up I have a lot of kids activities and homework to get done this week. But I'm sure I'll find some reason not to do my homework...

On a side note: Its really funny I didn't think Dr's did house calls anymore...I know they wouldn't in the cities, but they will up here in certain situations. I guess it's one of the perks of living in the country....still don't think I could manage more than a week at a time up here lol...nothings open past 9PM....most things close at 5 I'd go nuts!

You did it right. If the file size is too big it just puts in a link. If the pic is smaller, it shows up in the thread.

If want you can resize it with whatever program you have. (Paint, photo shop, Digital Image Standard, etc)

Thanks Ares and TC. Its weird I've come home after pretty much doing nothing much up at my mom's house other than occasionally repositioning my dad and general upkeep of the house (not hard when there aren't any kids around) and I can't seem to muster the energy to do anything. I just want to curl up and sleep all day like I haven't slept in weeks or something. I think being cooped up in the house is draining all my energy.

Mommy - that certainly is understandable with all the emotions you're experiencing at this time. Those emotions are physically draining. Allow yourself to rest when you feel the need to do so.

If Today is Your Birthday: March 3

Forecast for March 2007 to March 2008

With the Sun opposite Moon, and close to a Lunar Eclipse, in your Solar Return, the year ahead is likely to be one of epiphanies and revelations. The year promises to be a busy period in your life when you might make dramatic changes to your nutrition or health regime. Keeping "on top" of things in terms of staying organized is likely to be a focus, although you may not always succeed at doing so! A healthy dose of introspection is encouraged with Mercury retrograde in your Solar Return. This is an ideal year in which to do editing or research of any kind, and to put finishing touches on projects you may have initiated last year. Past errors may come to light, or at least to your attention. You're taking on a whole new perspective with regards to your life, and this could be a year in which your dreaming life is especially active, vivid, and memorable. This period in your life is the culmination of a stage of personal growth and development. Events at this time may bring to a head various developments in your emotional, psychological, or spiritual life over the past several years. There can be increased activity in your professional and public life, causing a conflict with your domestic and personal goals. There is little moderation in your life this year. Connections are made or ended; or your job focus may change as one focus fades to make way for a new direction. The year ahead is certain to be a very busy, dynamic, and significant period in your life.

The Sun conjuncts Uranus and quintiles Pluto in your Solar Return chart, suggesting exciting changes and new interests this year. ItÂ’s easier than ever to express your unique individuality, and if this involves changing careers or jobs, a new love affair, or an entirely new hobby, itÂ’s something that takes you forward into unexplored territory. You are more willing to adapt to new circumstances, ideas, and unfamiliar situations this year. It's a good time to join organizations and groups and to attend meetings or social events. You are able to find creative solutions to problems now. Flexibility is the key to success under this influence. Your personality is sparkling this year, which is sure to attract new circumstances and people into your life. You display more self-confidence when it comes to achieving your goals and going after what you want. Others are bound to recognize your leadership skills and talents, or, at the very least, your potential. You are motivated to get to the bottom of matters. You might find that you become more goal-oriented, as superficial goals no longer satisfy you. You want your life path and your objectives to reflect what youÂ’re really about, and you are likely to rid yourself of unsatisfying goals this year. You benefit from being more decisive than usual, and your ability to concentrate and focus help you to achieve what you set out to do. A new project or goal begun this year has a good chance of being successful and long-lasting.

With Mercury in creative aspect to Pluto around the time of your birthday this year, your mental faculties are attuned to otherworldly impressions as well, and this increases your insight, psychological understanding and awareness, and attention. You are inclined to do a lot of “digging”, researching, analyzing, investigating, and getting to the bottom of things. Increased psychological awareness of yourself and others can benefit you greatly, and employing strategy in your decision making is easier than usual this year.

Venus sextiles Chiron at the time of your birthday this year, and you'll have a chance to heal old wounds with regards to love. You are especially open to love and romantic feelings and more willing to act upon them. You're also bound to find new ways of making money. Mars is in hard aspect to Jupiter in your Solar Return chart. Although you are bound to show great enthusiasm for your endeavors this year, over-estimating what you are capable of doing is a potential problem. You may get fired up over opposing viewpoints, and you may need to adjust your plan of action. Errors in judgment made now are likely due to impulsiveness and the overlooking of crucial details. Harnessed well, however, much can be accomplished.

The year ahead promises change as you take on a whole new perspective. You are especially open to love and romance. Creative changes to both your social relationships and your financial affairs are likely. You are living at high speed this year, and it would be wise to think before you leap.

2007 is a Number Six year for you. Ruled by Venus. This is a year of relative contentment. It is a time when love is the easiest to attract, and partnerships formed under this vibration have a better chance for longevity. You are able to attract others, and material things as well, this year. This is a good year for establishing harmony in the family and in the home. Advice - develop ex
