that first picture is the one I could see around 5ish from Bloomington...and had a talk with Sarah about the meaning of a cloud, the rain and rainbows and all they represent to me....
she didn't care being a typical teenager but maybe someday she'll feel the jist of it.
which direction is that photo with the airplane in it? Is that looking West or South of you?
I was thinking of you in your 'tower' when I was admiring the views of both downtowns from 24th and highway 494-
Beautiful photos _ I really love to look at things through your eyes
Thanks J - That first plane shot was facing southeast. The one with the five fly boys was taken towards the northeast.
No really
thanks?
bow down, and stuff.
<------- bails
I woulda tried somehow to get the shot too
I don't see any rich guys or indecent exposure goin on
I take it you didn't wait for a cooler
There's another part of that line coming in from the hotel entrance at the end of the hall too. So people in the foreground find out that they're only one leg of the line once they get down the hall. By then it's too late to turn back.
That's in addition to the one across the skyway and another a block down.
Wonder if they'll serve everyone in the line regardless, or if there'll be pandemonium?
Only 5 minutes left too. I think they gave out tokens so people would leave instead of ask for something else. The free deal was on the coolers only.
wish I had stock in that company
lookie what I found!! ... I've been trudging along -cleaning up my computer-taking programs out and installing new ones -- going through the photos... I think so far this is the earliest one I can find from my stash
It was the 2nd year of the tradition of heading out to a park after clue 2 and hanging out at night.... the year before that we were at Como I think, and the year before that it was night hunting at Merriam? don't remember the order anylonger ... we did night hunt in Cherokee the year it was there and ofcourse many came together for some night time Conway fun... this is the year I really remember as a group driving in caravan though - : ) ...
Then again, that only affects the short-term memory so I guess you're good in this case.
I've posted since '97 but didn't make it out to much or take pictures before that.
Already Inks was out there with his new hose reel thingy. We are going to get lots of use out of it!
I think so.
thats beautiful terry!
Congratulations and enjoy!
thats a warm fuzzy of the summer right there
HeHe, I'm thinking it's ...
Pretty close to the St. Croix State Forest, Chengwatana State Forest, General Andrews State Forest, Nemadji State Forest
But we are near some campgrounds and those parks and forests you mention...especially General Andrews.
There is also an AmericInn in Moose Lake - 5 miles from here for those that choose not to camp.

I wonder what the Aquatennial people have to say about that?
