that first picture is the one I could see around 5ish from Bloomington...and had a talk with Sarah about the meaning of a cloud, the rain and rainbows and all they represent to me....

I left to rush home then seen the lightning TV was talking about so I just had to go around the block and go back up top to take a few night shots so I missed the news. I tape 'CCO and I wasn't on there. I have the other 3 rebroadcasts set to tape but I think I missed the deadline either way. Oh well.

Hah, I didn't have to wait for mine at all. I was impressed at how organized they had it.

These were the people that were lined up at 1:30. 1/2 hour before they even started giving out the free crap. It's kinda blurry because I couldn't use a flash for obvious reasons. The rich guys are up there now.

HaHa That's what I think every time they do this.

There's another part of that line coming in from the hotel entrance at the end of the hall too. So people in the foreground find out that they're only one leg of the line once they get down the hall. By then it's too late to turn back.

That's in addition to the one across the skyway and another a block down. :chagrin:

lookie what I found!! ... I've been trudging along -cleaning up my computer-taking programs out and installing new ones -- going through the photos... I think so far this is the earliest one I can find from my stash

It was the 2nd year of the tradition of heading out to a park after clue 2 and hanging out at night.... the year before that we were at Como I think, and the year before that it was night hunting at Merriam? don't remember the order anylonger ... we did night hunt in Cherokee the year it was there and ofcourse many came together for some night time Conway fun... this is the year I really remember as a group driving in caravan though - : ) ...

When did Trent start filming? I think that initial meeting at McGovern's the night before filming started was the first photos I took of the CC.

I've posted since '97 but didn't make it out to much or take pictures before that.

Once we get our porch finished up - should take a couple of weeks, we'll pick a weekend and anyone who would like to come up would be more than welcome. We have plenty of room for folks to camp here if they would like.

Pretty close to the St. Croix State Forest, Chengwatana State Forest, General Andrews State Forest, Nemadji State Forest

We have five acres. Probably anyone wanting to camp could do so right here. We even have a couple of posts with electric for camper needs. We have access to a beach and boat landings on two lakes - just need a pass to use them...and we have those for guests.

But we are near some campgrounds and those parks and forests you mention...especially General Andrews.

There is also an AmericInn in Moose Lake - 5 miles from here for those that choose not to camp.
