but see its like last year- in 3 days. whew!
they upped the prize money--- gonna have to be out there first thing tomorrow.....
just realized how my next couple of days are ... gonna be hard for me to get out there :frown:
we'll throw the clue up on here, when we get it.
but didn't get the exact clues yet
got some ideas though
hope to be out in the morning
I know its not northvalley and rich valley.
heres the pokey on the clues...
not exact clues...but
bring your bat, racquet, soccer shoes, and ice skates.
and 11 light poles in the park.
not rich valley ..has like 25+light poles
and northvalley has ZERO.
Scratch that. He plays on Wednesdays.
Twinkle, twinkle little star
oh-where-oh-where is the Golden Star?
In a park, near or far?
Up high, down low?
keep reading the clues and then you'll know.
2.
If you come to this park, you'll want to bring your bat a basketball, a racquet, a pair of skates, soccer cleats and perhaps your picnic basket.
3.
How many light poles are in this park? Count 'em all and you'll get eleven!
4.
Bring your walking shoes - the acerage of this park offers a lot of land to explore!
5.
The season of changing colors will soon be upon us, however some things just never change.
FYI, for those with laptops.... McDonalds has free wi-fi.
Is it any fun?
thinking about taking whitney to it

I can't even blame it on invergove
---its been found :frown:
Oakwood is out, only 9 poles..
Skyview has everything, including 11 poles, but its pretty small...
Does anybody know anything about mcgroarty park?
I think we're heading there now...
where?
The clues were way out of order if you ask me. 11 poles! I mean come on. :eyeroll:
after hitting that one, and then cruising past a couple of others, we had a feeling that we woulda been back there eventually anyhow...
if it was found there at that time, chances are, we have a picture of the finder...
we saw some people taking off for their car, when we got there, and we grabbed a picture of them, just incase...
it takes skill to find it on the 5th clue espiclaely when they are that BAD!!! I think we should run more hunts like this one ICEMAN mite find one!!! if he can stop drinking long enugh to hunt out of the TRUNK!!!!
I hear ice cream calling my name from the freezer ...
Looking forward to 3 hours of Big Brother.
(I didn't look at one post in the BB8 thread OT - I can't believe I held off)
Tonight should be a goodie! But I'll zip my lip.
Worker 1: Yea, we made it thru hump day! now just need to survive the weekend.
Worker 2: yup - say where did you put the clues for the hunt?
Worker 1: clues?! I thought you were going to write them!
Worker 2: No the boss said you were suppose to take care of it.
Worker 1: Aw man - it's quitting time - I can't stay and write up clues.
Worker 2: Well don't look at me - I'm not doing it.
Worker 1: Fine! but I'm just writing 5 to get me through tomorrow... someone will definitely find it!
I lounged on the couch with ice cream, pizza, bb8 and football!
good call kat, they musta only wrote 5 clues.
wonder if theres anyway of finding out the other 10.
I called city hall to find out what park it was found at....
Skyview.... at 3:15
meaning we were there when they picked it up... so the pic we took of the people leaving HAD to have been the finders.
DAMN!!!
once again - so close.
one of these times, dammit..... this is just getting to be too silly....
but yeah... we showed up there at city hall, like 2 minutes after 4:30, trying to find details, and everybody there was gone....
not to mention the fact that NOBODY there knows anything about a hunt going on...
we walked in, and and asked if they had any extra copies of the printed clues, and 3 different people go "clues for what?"... "what medallion hunt?"
after I explained it to one guy, and pointed out the clue, posted in the entry to their own building, he gets a puzzled look on his face, and goes "I didnt even know we had one of those"...
The "Golden Star" was found by Jeff Huebscher. This year the "Golden Star" was hidden in Skyview Park on the West side of the warming house amongst the juniper bushes. Good Job Jeff!
Thanks to the Sun Current for sponsoring the $500.00 prize again this year!
the drug dealer guy even asked us what we were doing there....
we told him we were lookin for the gold star, and he was all like: "what the hell is that?"....
we told him it was worth 500 bux, and he got all excited and goes "and its in this park?!?!?!"
