I was going to ask if the strip club was still!! D.C. dangers curives but you took care of that problem!!! I live out there Just after the LAST BIG FLOOD!!! was it 97 or something like that!!! and in montie. thay had the water marks on the side of the buildings!! alot of the houses that where damiged by the foolding where set to be controled burns!! and they did alot of fire training out there!! it was scary to see when you driveing around after work!! seen over the trees I worked a Jenny-o foods as QC quilty control and I worked at AMPI in Dawson!! they just built the hog plant out there 3 years after I moved back home!! then it was funny no one could get a job there??? for some reason!! you go north of Boyd and to the west threw Dawson to the next road take a right and go north some more I lived right up there my house out there has now been tore down!! if you keep going to Appleton!! you can find one off Minnesota's finest prisons!!! lol

although Brent - the guy we met up with up there, was more than willing to take us there, if we wanted to go....

I think next time we're in the area, I wanna explore some more backroads, and look for another Cemetary that i found out about... and probably check out Clarksfield, and Dawson....

was funny as hell... as soon as anybody found out we were from the cities, their first question - automatically, was "were you guys on that bridge, when it fell down?!?!?"

We were out there on Sunday, mrmikey. It's a fun place for the kids.

Has anyone gone to the Haunted Woods in Mendota Heights? On Marie and Dodd Road? I hear its pretty spooky and wonder if its too scary for seven year olds.

we waited for 45 mins to get into the parking lot, and then another 30 - 45 mins to get into the place....

the hayride was fun... but that was basically it... it only lasted like 15 minutes.... the haunted house sucked...

although, a flyer I got for that place a while back, was advertising, Sheik Adnan Al Kaise, and Lou Ferigno, as being there this year, to do autographs and stuff....

the Sheik is even supposed to be doing some matches.....

that group has kinda gone down-hill since their days at Trout-Aire

ya you bastard I worked there For a few years I did the home abortion clinic tell they shut it down because to many people conplaned about how vile and volger it was!!! it was some stupid church group and they where the worst they spit on you and kicked you all the time!!! I cant rember a church group that went by or thru the haunted house that didnt do that!!!

haha... one of the last years they were around, we had that dude in the giant ass Frankenstein costume following us around, and going on rides with us....

then we ran into the giant grim reaper, and we were like "yo frank! that dude is talkin crap about you!", and they had a "showdown", in the middle of canterbury downs

another year, we went there, all decked out like ICP, and they had a clown house....

we just walked in, and hung out, and had workers giving us props and stuff....

one dude even thought we worked there...

everthing they had there they sold off for next to NOTHING!!! at auction I think after all said and done they where still in the hole to canterbury!!! for a LOT!!! when they folded one of the OG owners of my old haunted hayride went and bought a part of it and it got REALLY BAD then!!!!

it is geard at the 5 to 10 year old cat. it is just out and out boring most of the time you can see the haunts and the actors! its just not geard to scare you at all!! I would acutly like to just go to like a ranch and have a group outing for a horse drawing one I think a non scary one for familys and all!!! would be fun!!! dosnt amits apple farm have one?? see I just cant see spending alot of money to not get scared at some point thou its hard to do but when I have little kids telling me it sucked!!

And I have a few friends that do reviews for papers and web sites!! that tell me! but I have done some work with them checking out some of the haunted houses around town!

it was bad I dont rember a a single one that didnt do it!! I stopped alot of wagons for that type of stuff And I would say it was 50 50 that is was a church gruop then you allways had the big tough guy that you scared the crap out of in front of his hot girl friend and he want to think he was big and kept daying you didnt scary him!!! then you would run around the other side and come back and scary him agin!! then he wanted to get off and kick your you know what!!! lol!!!

not many got off when you would call them out on it!! it was funny and the ones that did got there butts kicked!!! bad it was funny to see a 15 year old pounding on some 20 year old dude that thought he was a hard azz!!!

another group that we had troubles with Was boy scouts!! it was weard because they show who there are with BIG TIME!!! den number and everything!! so you would figer that they would be on there best behaver but they still worn't have as bad ass the church groups!! singles groups where fun they would throw each other to the wolfs if it went getting to the end!!!

I'd never heard of it before either, but I heard Mischke talking about it on the radio the other day. He talked to a journalism student who went over there to interview the people that run it and they took her into the woods and it scared the crap out of her. She swears she heard voices speaking in a foreign language in there.

I just wonder if it's too scary for some of my younger grandchildren. The price is so much more reasonable than some of the places around.
