I saw a house on County road 42 in Apple Valley doing the light flashing similar to the system you are asking about, but I didn't roll down my window to listen for music... It would be on Cty Rd 42, between Redwood Drive and Hayes Road, if it is not out of your way. I don't get over that way too often, but if I do I will take a better look for you.

Looks like I missed it at my work too. I wonder if there's a way to tell exactly what day it was in the area? Definitely not recently.

a co worker and I got hers dated to this last August due to the daylillies in her yard and construction going on - I think mine was late June early july due to the carpeting we just wripped out and the flowers and nice green grass.

that is amazing. I saw a special on the travel channel months back of people who drove around through europe in special tech trucks and took the video/photos - they got paid like $75 grand a year to do it.

I looked at my house - I wasn't home at the time- thank goodness it was a sunny nice day when they did it instead of a rainy gloomy day.

That Street View is nuts when you look at how many blue streets they drove down. WoW

I see my house too. But there are many streets that aren't navigated yet so not everyone will be able to see their house at the present time.

I'm just glad my garage door was shut and my cars not in the drive way..

I'm seriously in the wrong line of work though. I want to get paid to drive the google mobile around.

They had my adress in the wrong place. I had to do an edit and move it. No street view either. Just comes up with a yellow outline of a person or something.

Has anyone seen any people in those shots?? I traveled up to Marie and Southview and still didn't see people. Kind of spooky.

I was home. My car was in the back. It must have been taken early September because Walter has his big blow up pumpkin in front of his shop and city hall remodel is finished.

I tried to click on it. Dont work at my house. No blue streets. Does work in other places though. I looked at the snap fitness on Stillwater and Century and it looks like it might be the back of my jeep in that shot. Too far away to get a good look though. Hard to tell if its a jeep at all or something smaller.

I was looking at my street and they caught my neighbor down the street walking out to his car..

Here's one where I found a lady walking into an intersection. She's in the 5 photos afterwards also.

no people anywhere - than wondered if they came through on a Sunday or something. Thats probably your jeep mikey. I went looking for my truck downtown but didn't find it there. If you look on the corner of 5th and Wabasha (driving the wrong way on Wabasha twords 4th st)and move the directional around you can see the vehicle that is doing this. kinda cool. and driving 6th street just past Washington you hit bright sunlight!!

They have half of North Oaks, I'm surprised. It's private property, so technically they were breaking the law unless they got someone who lives here to take the pictures. :wink:

I found our house - complete with the son's car and Inks' truck parked out front.

Then I found my office building and it had to be a day I took the truck to work - it's parked out there plain as day. Too funny!

Speaking of the truck, Inks met the guy out in Burnsville this morning. They punched the ignition and both door locks. There's also a dent on the driver's side rear fender that we didn't see at the impound lot - because it was parked so flipping close to the car next to it.

We'll see what happens next.

I can date my pictures on google live to the first 2 weeks August do to construction on my house that started the first week of August and the fact I got a new car the second week of August.

Guess I live to far out in the weeds, no blue lines even close to my house, much less in the city that I live. I did however find work. That is pretty cool.

They have us!! And I can tell you it was the taken the last week of June/First Week of July and it was also either a Mon/Tues/Weds...

My son's truck is in our driveway (which was only during those weeks) and my neighbor's car is there too (she is only here on those 3 days). But definitely while we were at work as both my hubby and my car are gone.

Oh and last night L&A Daddy says to me the shots they took of our street is illegal, there are 5 cul-de-sacs off the main road and all 5 of them are privately owned we pay the property taxes, do the maintenance etc. but of course we aren't going to raise a big stink. But I could see how google could get into trouble for doing this.

I'd like to know what's illegal about taking pictures? Maybe call a cop if you catch them trespassing or something, but illegal? Doubt it.

pictures taken from a public street are perfectly legal afaik. Now, if the google mobile drove up in your driveway and took pictures of you in your backyard hot tub, that might be more iffy.
