That looks a lot like the State Fair Coliseum in its heyday. I recognize those old rusted fences because they haven't changed a bit in 70 years. :wink:

This just in - Como sells Corpse flower to pay for new Zoo improvements - Plans to bring it to the Capitol as part of protest are put on hold. Everyone knows this latest budget bill stinks to high heaven anyway, so why bother? :wink:

I don't know if any of you are bird watchers - we've got a ton of birds coming to our feeders now this spring. We have lots of Finches - the small photo above is from our feeder - He's an ordinary house finch, but his feather color is very purple - similar to the much rareer Purple Finch.

we happened to catch the smoke plume as we were driving north on 494 on our way out to the u of mn morris campus with josh today. needless to say, we were like moths to a flame. literally :smile:

Even though we're all Cooler Heads, I always looked at that folder as being for Cooler Dudes to post their discussions vs the Chicks with their own threads.

That's what I do, too.

I click "read new" and it takes me to whichever folders have new posts.

Then, if threads come up that I'm not interested in, I go into them and unsubscribe.

Really saves a lot of time, and still keeps me pretty current, I think.
