Mucks, talk to me when it comes time for credit repair, I can help you out - I had 16k in medical bills in 2006 for my surgery. 1 day in intensive care was the same as a year of college.
omg! my cc's amaze me. the limits they are willing to give are astounding. I could travel the world over-- kinda like in that movie with Queen Latifa where she thinks she is gonna die so she maxes her cards. I could do that!
I got one in the mail that I forgot about with a $500 balance :frown:
Time to do a free credit report, girl. - Mrs. Doxy has about five dead accounts that should've gone away more than five years ago. You might just be surprised how many places your credit has gone.
Do yourself a favor, though - don't print out a hard copy. Save it as a PDF. There aren't enough trees in Northern Wisconsin to print THAT report.
Funny you mention hot offices. My office has been >85 for the last 4 working days until about 30 minutes ago when they finally rolled this baby into my area. Much better now. You'll see me posting more now.
Torgy's mom has a lab, that apparently got a little frisky in the front yard last month, an scared a lady and she fell down - anyway, she's going after his mom for a boat load, and has filed lawsuits etc.
Him Mom now has to register the dog as an agressive dog, and pay insurance on him - which she doesn't want to do - so instead she is going to put him DOWN!
I'm so upset - I think that is awful - it's a LAB, a cute, fluffy black lab - ya they are hyper - but they aren't mean. :crying:
I really hope that isn't the case. Does the woman have bite marks or did she break something on the fall? She should wait.I'd take the dog to court and let the judge see for him/her self. The judge may throw the case out and then she wouldn't have to put the dog down. I'm sure the woman can still sue if they put the dog down so what good would that do?
that's what I'm trying to get him to do - is to just take the dog from his moms and give it to someone.
there aren't any bite marks - she apparently got scared cause the dog jumped up at her, and she fell down and sprained her wrist.
His mom is so strange - If it were one of my dogs, you can bet I'd be doing everything (and still just paying the insurance to have the pup)
I think this is her way of trying to play victim with her kids, and use it as some sorta power trip, but the short of it is, that Torgy's heartbroken (he can't take it, the dog is too big for his condo regs) He actually cried yesterday when he called me.
To find out which, I have to buy a voltage meter from Radio Shack, skin my knuckles reaching under the thing, and pray I don't get electrocuted.
Alternative #1: Pay a pro to do it - get charged a helluva lot more than $50 bucks.
Alternative #2: Get a whole damn new kitchen. Everything is 10 years old now, plain white, base model stuff. We already want to change out the countertop, and this may be a good reason to upgrade the whole kit n'caboodle. Kiss that Tax incentive check bye-bye.
Just put a butter knife or screwdriver on top of the solenoid. If you "feel" a magnet its energized. If its energized and still no water the valve is bad. If it's not energized you have to find out why. If the drain control valve was bad it wouldn't drain.
carolyns moms neighbor is going thru something similar...
Only he has a pit..
mind you, shes one of the friendliest dogs you'll ever meet...
evidentlly one of the other neighbors complained about how they saw her running loose, or something, and felt threatned...
so now, he has to keep her on a leash in the yard at all times, and muzzled.... and if he has anybody over at his house, visiting, the dog has to stay muzzled, as well as in a room by itself....
Carolyn and her mom have been busy sending off letters to whom it may concern, talking about how the dog is definately NOT a danger to anyone, whatsoever...
Looks like fun. I had those same helicopters clog my gutters so all the water from the storm was going into my basement instead of the drain. It worked out OK though. I'm just glad I have industrial cleaning equipment on hand and that the power only went out for a short time.
omg - I was scrolling so I thought you meant a REAL helicopter hit your house!
The storm sent a surge through my house yesterday. Blew out the tv in the kitchen, the tv in the bedroom and I have no cable on the tv in the livingroom and no internet til Sunday. I guess it blew the cable box and possibly the router. I have not checked the computer downstairs yet- both tv's and the computer were off so if it blew the computer than I have a claim for insurance. DAMN! :frown:

Needs one of two parts:
New water intake control valve: $53
Drain Control Valve Solenoid $38
To find out which, I have to buy a voltage meter from Radio Shack, skin my knuckles reaching under the thing, and pray I don't get electrocuted.
