Lazy like me!
Mine has been down by New Years eve ever since. Except this year, where I just shut off the lights and took off the star. No tree is complete without lights and a topper.
1. The cats have something to play in. Now you don't have to buy anymore toys, bells, yarns of wool, or other trinkets for their toy box. Baubles, lights, the whole package are right there adorning your tree. Do be mindful of mishaps; they tend to get tangled up or lost for a few hours.
   2. It matches the living room ambiance. Now that you've got a pine tree in the corner, the Alpine-ski resort theme you've been playing around with can actually come to life.
   3. You don't want to light candles anymore. Count on the tree lights to set a cozy and festive mood. Consider it mood lighting, without even lighting a match.
   4. It's an excuse to keep wrapped presents for surprise guests. Easily give away re-gifts at the next cocktail party, by announcing a gift-giving session. You'll have all the props to make it feel special!
   5. You've got something to make ornaments for. Now is the time to take up the craft of ornament-making, and showcase your talents for all to see, immediately.
   6. It's a place to hang souvenirs, knick knacks, and other things you usually stuff into the kitchen drawer. What easier way to get the family to take care of their belongings, than hanging them up for all to grab/take from one easy place? Keys are a good one.
   7. You'll know how long pine needles can really hold their ground. Pine needle pickup will quickly become part of your cleaning repertoire, so be sure to have extra vacuum bags on hand. If it's an artificial tree, you've got nothing to worry about!
   8. Your house will always get trick or treaters; the lights can stay on to attract all the season's visitors. People will associate your house as the fun and inviting kind.
   9. It fills up the room nicely for cocktail parties and gatherings. The feeling of an empty or hollow room just won't exist. Christmas have a strong presence about them, and can help feel new guests immediately comfortable.
  10. It's a good place to dry your socks. When the dryer isn't working properly, or you need an overnight fix for the just-washed laundry, the tree can be a handy way to get the job done. Naturally and safely.
I bet it was prety everynight for him though. I really like after the kids go to bed and I just lay there in the quiet and look at the lights in the dark. It may have been peaceful for him too. ....OR he just was too lazy! heh (see posts above about being lazy)
No it was a falsie in his basement.
Kept lights on and everything.
sounds like a boobie shrine
