Fuzzy-Noles is coming? Cool... I hope to make it too... Been really busy at work, and meetings in the morning, but will try to escape like the COJ awhile back.

Will be fun, and looking forward to getting outside for a bit before back at work and digging back in.

I think it's part of the stimulus package. All the leftover GPS devices from Circuit City are being delivered as we speak. Once everyone has a GPS, they'll stop making highway signs and save a boatload of money.

Kinda curious about this nationwide Cacheing - has anyone plotted a Cache hunt along old Route 66 cross-country? That might be fun.

I finally got a GPS, the Garmin 60CSx and I am pumped to use it. If anyone has time in the next few weeks and wants to give me a bried tutorial on how to use this gadget I would appreciate it. Perhaps there are caches in Como park and we could grab a cold beer afterwards?

Hey Art... Congrats on the new gizmo... As for caches in Como, that park is loaded with them...

As a heads up, there should be a group of cachers at Lake Harriet this Thursday evening for an event see - GC1TXDV hosted by King Boreas. Bring the gizmo, sure there will be somebody there to help you figure out how to find stuff with it.

I went to the Reservoir park in Roseville to try to find some of Posen's caches, and I was close on one of them, but wasn't able to find any. I did kind of get used to it and I am so happy that I finally got this because I am going up to my dad's in Brainerd on Wed. and there are a bunch of caches that I have loaded onto my GPS so hopefully I will be registering some finds sooner than later. I will probably go to Como this afternoon to hopefully find some.

Posen's aren't too hard. If they have been there a while (most have) just look for the path. One is a big mannequin leg.

The woodsy cache in Brainerd are OK, but there are a lot of lamp skirt caches by Fleet Farm. As I recall, there were some good ones around Pelican Lake and some on a hiking trail along Hole in the Wall Lake.
