2012 - Tony Schmidt Park

Submitted by ares on
2012 Clues

So its back to the drawing board for next year
to find a spot so deep and drear.
Harder to reach all you whiners
than those buried Chilean miners.

Next year's clues will inspire dread
requiring knowledge of languages dead,
Higher math rocket science
disbanding every hunters alliance.

I take your leave. I bid adieu.
I go in search of the perfect clue.
Prepare to hike hard dig deep and delve.
Will have a grand party in 2012.

l and a mommy

I wonder if the anagram generator websites have any clue why every year they get a spike in traffic.

I put "freeloading nun" through the google machine and sadly came up with nothing..

Enjoyed your snarkiness on FB.

How long has the Shamrock Park spoof been around?

Long enough for the CW to finally put it there....I certainly hope not.

LOL.... I was wondering that too. I'm sure the city of Arden Hills is going haywire too.

I use wordsmith... is there a better one?

andys anagram solver is my choice

I use both wordsmith and andy's anagram solver. I find that sometimes one is better than the other and then I think the opposite so I just try both.

Something came up at home tonight. Although it was minor, too late to head to Gabe's now. Plus I was feeling really run down today so I think I will rest up tonight and get this clue from home.

same here; sue's in at urgent care because of "the alien" moving into her chest.

I thought with today's health insurance plans, an alien infestation would be a simple outpatient procedure?

That would be something if it were about indians in battlecreek

Very interesting scramble that could go a lot of ways. This is going to be tough to decipher, unless I'm missing a pattern.

I concur with Terry: Stay/Way Field/Yield

Not sure exactly where the rest of the words go, yet

methinks the jist of this clue is that its a reference to the sioux on their way to rice lake for the wild ice harvest, stopping at johanna.

watery field, delicacy, etc.

Terry

They came to reap their yield?
Sun, 01/29/2012 - 8:38 PM Permalink

something fishy....my guess is we need to anagram "some" of the words.
Sun, 01/29/2012 - 8:39 PM Permalink

Yea, there's got to be something more to this. If we can tell they're talking about the wild rice harvest by the Indians before the clue is even unscrambled, that's a fishy sign.

Maybe they just made it easy to hone everyone in on TSP?

not really shat. i said from day one we don't need the clue at 1130 because we'll pull every single word apart that we can from the 1030 scrambled clue

I think "night" should be "light" and "two" should be "to", just a hunch
