2002 Pioneer Press Treasure Hunt

Submitted by Casey Trauer on

Yes, the medallion has been found, but there's still lots to talk about. Feel the need for more than virtual discussion? Then join the Re-Hash Bash, Sunday, Jan. 27, at noon at Merriam Park in St. Paul.

Could be. I've no thought on that one way or the other. If it should prove to be true, tho, those nord east rec centers are looking a lot better...

Does anyone have an idea for a new-fangled super-duper digging implement that wouldn't be noticed by other hunters? Perhaps a dog with a good nose for plastic. Or how about some sort of ultrasonic device that would be able to see through the snow. Provided there is snow.

Lets get working on these ideas.

actually if we don't have a lot of snow, steve, little more than a propane torch would be necessary. and a large supply of propane.

Ok how about disguising ourselves as park employees and scooping up all the snow with a Bobcat and taking it to a secret location with dumptrucks?

they add water, which in mn makes ice

you're kidding me, right? wouldn't that be increasing the thickness of the ice, thus throwing off things like the spots for the goals and stuff?
