A couple friends of mine got Pentium 4s. One is a Hewlitt Packard, the other is a Dell. The HP looks great. I read up on the Dell. Comes with a built in THX sound system just like the movie theatres!
I was just looking at the HBO page and Band of Brothers has not even been put on their coming soon list. The latest date on that list was March 26 so I wouldn't look for it to be out before then.
I've been looking out for any further seasons of the Sopranos released on dvd as well. A few are advertised on eBAY but they're in Canada or Europe and have the regional codes that won't work on American DVD players. I have the first and second seasons of The Sopranos on dvd. All my friends and relatives who I borrow them out to get hooked on the show. They all prefer me over the video store now. Makes financial sense for them.
I'm just on the computer so much at work, I don't like to do that much in my free time. I also don't like to spend too much money unless I have to, so that can mean I log probably too much TV time. I watch a ton of sports, and movies. I also like the old sitcoms that are on Nick at Night or TV Land. Oh and then there are the game shows on the Game Show Network. I never make plans to watch TV, other than maybe a sporting event or two, but it always seems to get turned on sometime throughout the night.

I'm kind of lucky here, or unlucky depending how you look at it.
The guy I rent from is a TV freak. We have every movie channel you can have, a ton of sports channels, and all the basic networks. He has two different satelite receivers, one for him upstairs on the 36' flat screen sony, and one for me downstairs on the 51' sony projection TV. I get all this inclusive in my rent paying only for pay per views. He got all this after I moved in and my rent didn't budge from it's original cost.
Well now I feel like crap. I tried being funny by giving a fibby explanation as to why THX assumed that nadho's pal was single. We were having a great conversation in here until I made my remark. Then Scribe left, THX left, and the whole damn place went silent. Me and my BIG MOUTH. I apologize.

Only time I really watch TV is later at night when the kids are in bed.
