Oakdale Park was the site in year one. Tanners Lake was next to continue the fun. Eberle Park for year number three, Remember they found it near the base of a tree? Richard Walton was last. The sleuth's figured it out. One year north, the next year south.

Parks are popular places to play. People place pieces of plastic that pay. Some say softball and slides and swings, Others seek cents through spherical things
If they are going with some form of Anagram using first letters, SOP are all in Goosepond but not all in any of the other parks listed on the list. Also Goosepond is a northern park and I believe that is what is meant by the south then north then south again, and now north again clue.
Maybe I'll live to be 200 if the spicy thing is true.
Haha... yeah.... I couldnt, and still cant believe that turtles like that, are only supposed to have a real short lifespan.... but hey... i got the info from an expert in the field... so who knows.Â
Old things are eventually replaced with brand new. Plastic and wood and bricks are a few. Those searching in earnest may question this clue, New wheels replace old and whistles that blew.
do any of the parks have a play train or a model train in which to climb on? what about new railroad tracks or something? a newer park or one that's been remodeled (updated)? that's the only thing that comes to my mind with this clue.
hahahaha- not me! but a North park was the first idea-geeesh-how can it be that easy? you would think it would be a clue that leads you to an 'area' not the actual NAME of the park! I had Northdale, Oakfield and Goodpond on my list and was gonna go to them thisafternoon- :(
I was out at Northdale Park earlier today. I was actually going from park to park trying to get things to fit. All I saw at Northdale were kids hitting golf balls. I'm curious as to where the treasure was found in the park.
Hiya Me2. I was thinking of calling you from the park, but didn't. Wasn't sure how much you were following this hunt. I think if the archery was going to be used, it would have been later. I'm not exactly how clues 3 & 4 were to be interpreted.
I'd like to take this 500 Joe opportunity to point out that the explanations for the Oakdale hunt are up. I had a feeling about that area of the park, but to me it seems like they're saying it was up off the ground. Then I wouldn't find it cause I was looking down.
I didnt even know they were talking about the hunts in an "Oakdale" thread until a couple days after the treasures were found...

CM - that duluth hunt sounds like it would have been a lot of fun!! I used to love scavenger hunts when I was a kid. I haven't participated in one now for years!! Too bad there isn't one locally...
aaaactualy DD -I have a list of items going for a CC Scavenger Hunt ...just a matter of when. That would be cool for September maybe- A Fall Scavenger Hunt
I was gonna try to get it together last September but I forgot about it after Ares found a girlfriend and he basically stopped talking to me :( -He was also gonna help with a hunt too but he says he cant keep it a secret from TC therefor 2 less people hunting -then he knew some ideas we had which makes my hunt know harder to compile.
The Scavenger Hunt is currently set up for carloads of 3 or more to a team and a sign in fee -a point system for items that add up to 1st, 2nd and 3rd place prizes. Just need prizes! a date for it and a few more items to add to the huge list of items.
He was also gonna help with a hunt too but he says he cant keep it a secret from TC therefor 2 less people hunting -then he knew some ideas we had which makes my hunt know harder to compile.
'tis easier to keep things from a girlfriend than a wife. kinda like 'tis easier to ask for forgiveness than permission.
besides. i might miss out on a little treasure (chest) hunting of my own ;)
Me2 - that sounds like so much fun!! Dang it though if it's set for September as i'll be big as a whale by then with my due date on September 29. I might be able to do a mid or late October hunt though depending on when my little peanut arrives..
I heard from a couple ninjas that the new jail is alot nicer than the old one...... not that I could tell ya from experience, one way or the other though...

It is a lot nicer. I got my own private tour the day before it was opened. It made me want to hang out with the guys. The shooting range was pretty cool. Got to meet a few St. Paul big wigs that day too.
I wonder if she'll hang out here this winter.... she told me a long time ago that she hates to read others views as she thinks it messes with her head.....
Well at this point I can see that everyone is keeping some things to themselves otherwise some other Cooler Crew members would be ALL IN THE SAME PLACE!
