That is a cool jacket even if it isn't a medallion. I never noticed that B4.

I also think that's one of my favorite shots as well. It encompasses so many things at once. Including pretty people.

CM - they come to Oakland Collisum on 2/6/06

I just got an update from ticketmaster today. Spendy show... only tix available are $125 a piece.

Not into them THAT much for the price... Disturbed plays Thur, Fri and Sat in January - tickets $60 per person. That is more my speed.

Thanks Tim for getting us the tickets!

That's what we ended up paying for $85 tix. :eyeroll:

If it wasn't for the fact that they added Lenny, we would have never gone. Aerosmith remind me of KIZZ when it comes to that shit. FU! Ya greedy bastards! WTF do you need the $ for anyway?

That's cool. I remember seeing their last set for the opening of the X. Glad ya had a good time. Where were they and what did they say about KB?

They were playing the X. They were making cracks about the last time they played in St Paul at the Ice Palace. They were laughing about how our palace had no roof.

They played out side at the ice palace. BBRRRRrrr.

That was before the All Star game right? I think they only played 2 maybe 3 tunes tops.

Damn babies. Maybe if they weren't so friggen barenaked they would have been warmer.

I love when they have an extended stage like that -

can you imagine buying tickets thinking you were in the 30th row and really being practically front row?

Bon Jovi did that - looks like you didn't stay in your seat.

I saw BNL when they rocked Alcatraz a few years back. Got on a Radio Station Party Barge and went out there and hung out on the barge and saw the whole show - it was fun.

Concerts on Alcatraz? Way cool! I've been there before but never knew they had shows out there.

Very nice. My family has started a tradition of everyone doing a project (same theme for everyone) and bringing it on Christmas day. The first year it was a gingerbread house. Unbelievable the houses they made. We've also done ornaments, wreaths, snow globes, and last year you had to bring the funniest/strangest $1 gift. This year they have to write an essay, poem, song or whatever about their favorite Christmas memory.

they do it once a year as a benefit show. BNL has been there, Green Day, and someone else -I don't remember only been around a few years.

You can't buy tickets - you have to win them, and the rest of the Tickets go to projects for youth etc.

that is sweet OT! I did a twas the night before xmas spoof of my co-workers a few years back.

I did a cookie tree one year - with frosting, damn thing weighed 18 pounds.

I've done gingerbread houses b4 also - thinking when I go up to see the boy for 4 days -b4 xmas might pick up a house kit and build it with him. He's into doing pretty much anything if I'm willing. :sheepish:

Here's what one of the new features in PS CS does to enhance the black levels of a picture.

It's like turing on a light. Cool. As you can see, the white balance stays the same.

The spring comes out on the left of the castle and drains where you see that stick in the ground by the washout area next to the drive path.

It seems kinda sad that that's how the birthplace of Minnesota looks when we immortalize things like the old Met Stadium's home plate within the MOA. I'm actually kinda glad it's like that I guess. The less people know about it the smaller chance it'll get wrecked.

It's very cooler CM.

I just wish the water squirted out everywhere like a fountain. That would amuse me to no end.

there's a fountain down on shepherd road across from the science museum that kinda does that vino.

Oh wait, I think they made it into a planter now...

Love4Vino

bummer - downtown napa had this awesome rock fountain when I was a kid. 15 years ago some stupid parent didn't watch their kid and the kid jumped in, tried to climb the rocks, slipped and drown in the 4 inches of regurgitated water. They made it a planter.

Vino likes fountains... high spritzy fountains.

It's a little known fact that there used to be a fountain at the intersection of Grand and 4th Avenue in SSP. When I was a little girl my friends and I would play in it. It was surrounded by an overgrown hedge so it was really private. When they were planning the make over on Grand I suggested they might want to reinstall one there and no one in the public works department even knew about it. I think they thought I was a dotty old woman. But it was there! There must still be a water main under the pavement.
