looks very nice- I like the address numbers-which one is yours 14423 or 14433? -the wallpaper in the bathroom isn't so bad - I saw some beautiful chinese writing prints at target that would look great in there.

Speaking of wall paper dawg and I started to hang our new wall paper in the dining room yuk I hate wall paper I would rather paint.

I think we will be well packed before then. We're not letting the house stuff change our plans for the hunt. We have plenty of time on our current lease to let things move slow.

I hate installing and removing wallpaper... but I like some of them... I would like to get an older house and do it up with the whole victorian wallpaper thingy going on. Ya know, with the velvety raised stuff, and the tin ceilings? Not something that I think would look good in anything but a good period-piece house.

But I would much rather paint...

We 3 layers of painted-over wallpaper in our bathroom, to go with the 2 or 3 layers of vinyl flooring that were laid right on top of each other there too...

it amuses me that the cable guy's new house comes with a dish :smile:

I'm watching the Ellen Degeneres show and she does a segment where she shows pictures with Santa that people have sent in. If you go to her web site I guess it tells you how to send them. I think you should send yours! The original. Not scary Santa. :wink:

it was along shepherd road, right across from a flour mill about half a mile west of the power plant. As you drive down shepherd you can see the historical monument along the bike path.

on the north side of Shepard, by that monument, are grain silos -the cave used to run under them to the river- there was a creek and 'lake' inside that cave too

we must live in the same house zeph. I stripped 5 coats of wallpaper with 3 coats of paint inbetween down to untextured drywall board in one bedroom.

This weekend - the wall around my new french doors got it's drywall. Couldn't figure out the odd 'knock down' pattern on the rest of the wall - then realized - duh - it was paint (many many many layers) over sever layers of wallpaper with odd raised patterns.

I so have my xmas home project cut out.

what in god's name are you talking about???
