I suppose anyplace would be just as good as any other...
I need one for x-mas, for one of my step bros...
we always do joke gifts, and I found these boxes at dollar tree - the kind where no unwrapping is needed, just pull the top off - that I could stuff one of those snakes into, pretty easily....
Maybe I'll just post the updates in this pets thread, and not in STB, and people can read the updates - or not.
My heart goes out to this dog - he was being transported from previous owner to new owner and in a completely foreign place. He is scared, not out there having fun like the Fox news story tried to make it sound. He is also the same breed as my dear Frodo.
My dogs have gone missing and no one was around to help me, either.
The people running the search tried hard to discourage the media circus - that was NOT their idea.

I think I know these people!! I heard the penguins are getting too close to the nativity scene)
In my neighborhood a small group got together and put Luminaries along the boulevard in front of their home on Christmas Eve.
Each year more homes join in... it's several blocks now.
It's fun driving home late that night - We always take the long way home to see how many joined in each year.... of course by the time we get to our block there is maybe only 2 or 3 houses out of 20 that join in... ahhh someday....
That would be a nice thing to setup on a website.. I bet there's a market for it. GPSrs for cars are getting more and more popular/affordable, and most have the ability to load POIs, Shoot, on the nuvi, you can include pictures and some sort of tour guide.
Yea the tour guide thing is what I'm talking about. It will play narratives (or christmas music) of what your seeing by using proximity points. Could probly be a marketable product for a guy thats good with maps and gps's and stuff.
It's amazing from year to year how many households and displays may change - for better or worse - from year to year. One sprained ankle during deer hunting may mean a dark house for Christmas at our place. My wife isn't dumb enough to crawl on a snowy roof to hang lights like her husband does.
We go up to St. Cloud for a Holiday party every year to look at light displays, and whole streets that were lit up one year are dark the next. There's a few 'regular' places to see, but they are getting fewer and fewer all the time.
speaking of google. .... great sermon in church Sunday.
Had to do with God looking down on Earth (kinda like having his own Google Earth) finding the country and they the town and then the house where he found and chose Mary to be his mommy. Pretty cool idea outside the box.
Where can you buy a Kirby Puckett Jersey or T-shirt in the twin cities today (Monday)? None at the dome memorabilia place, Twins shops, or the MOA shop (they will make one, but not in time for Christmas).
in a skirt
oh...where do they sell them...kitchy not sure right now :frown:

I think I know these people!! I heard the penguins are getting too close to the nativity scene)
112 Belmont Road Cottage Grove?
Each year more homes join in... it's several blocks now.
It's fun driving home late that night - We always take the long way home to see how many joined in each year.... of course by the time we get to our block there is maybe only 2 or 3 houses out of 20 that join in... ahhh someday....
You know anybody like that?
I think the trickiest part is all the legwork involved, the computer side is essentially a cakewalk.
We go up to St. Cloud for a Holiday party every year to look at light displays, and whole streets that were lit up one year are dark the next. There's a few 'regular' places to see, but they are getting fewer and fewer all the time.

Had to do with God looking down on Earth (kinda like having his own Google Earth) finding the country and they the town and then the house where he found and chose Mary to be his mommy. Pretty cool idea outside the box.

If God was female, she'd STILL be picking out the "Just Right" color of the sky.

sorry about the price...but i found one
Just ordered one from jerseystore2000 on eBay.
Had to pay express shipping, but could have easily burned up that much in gas looking today. That's what I get for procrastinating.
Thanks for all the places to check I hadn't known about.
