I was working a little in the attic last night, and I could see my breath.

i'm hearin ya on that. i've been able to see my breath in the garage. on the bright side, its about 75% organized right now. gonna spend the weekend putting lights on the outside of the house, and then it'll be back to the garage for more manuring. you still have some space in the shed for me to drop some crap off, right, jt? :smile:

I just e-mailed the photos to Dawg she bought it she can cus them out. I told her I could buff them out but that I wanted a lot of cash back.

I've gotten all kinds of freebies from slumberland...

they dropped my couch....got it at 33% of what I paid and got a $100 gift card...

they will give you options vs taking it back...get what you want or send it back /with a gift card for your troubles.

Dawg wants a new table we paid $1400.00 for the thing she wants perfection.

I might go Kitch's route and try to get it marked down at least half. Then I'd rub a little Allwood or Murphy's oil on it. Bella will probably put at least that many scratches on it in time anyway.

Sell it when you call in! Talk about how your whole family is coming on Saturday and this is the first new table you've gotten and it's all scratched up and Thanksgiving is ruined. You'll get a discount and a new table!

But seriously, Dawg is right, don't buff it out. You paid a lot for it, you're owed it in the condition you expected it to be in.

I'm so glad I bought the IKEA table vs. the good oak one!!!!

I took a closer look and there is some water damage and its warped as well that store sells junk.

I told Dawg with all the trouble we have had with slumber land in the past to tell them we don't want it any more and to give us or money back, we can find some thing else.

I've done the same thing at that stupid airport...and got a ticket, too...but didn't move. The kicker was that the baggage area wasn't even busy...not like a flight or three just came in and everyone was double parked and all that...bastards!
