after the movie I went to "chino latinos" in the uptown area with some friends.
This was my first time there....food was ok...spicy as all get out.
but my bathroom experience freaked me out....(I'm a little old school)
When you walk it its a little confusing as the girls/guys share the sinks and mirrors..so this is a little freaky...I thought I walked into the girls bathroom.
BUT I was really grossed out when I was washing my hands after I was all done and two girls didn't....they just walked out.
IMHO- ya its trendy...but I don't care to see the bathroom life of girls.
My husband and I went to Santorini's last night before we went to the Medina to see Blackhawk. That restaurant is awesome. I guess it's been there 10 years. It's in St.Louis Park near 394 and 169. The menu is Greek and Italian with a few American foods thrown in for the non adventurous types. Their greek food is the best we've had so far in the twin cities. I had Kotopita - marinated chicked wrapped in spinach, feta, and wrapped in phyllo and cover in a lemon egg sauce. :pbpt: Tiramasu for desert. We are going back soon.The place was packed but we went late so only had to wait 15 minutes for a table, but if you're going on a Fri or Sat it almost seems necessary for a reservation.
Most of you missed a GREAT time at Spanky's tonight...the band was really interactive and fun. I had a blast partying with those of you who were there...good times! :cool:
I was just listening to 20/20; story was about H. Katrina...and that voice was "Tom Shane" of the Shane Company (you know those annoying radio commercials). You can't mistake that voice. I'm well aware of voiceover work, but somehow I had this idea that Tom was the Real Deal. Guess not...just another fake :frown:
I think they guy doing the 20/20 story is a reporter or "correspondent" as they like to call them these days. It wasn't just his voice...he was in the story interviewing some guy.
I'm not exactly sure....I'm guessing it because its one of the first movies I recall sneaking into without my parents knowing what me and my brother did.
The first Shane Co's were out here one in SF and one in Concord. He gives presentations on gemology and stuff at the local Community Colleges etc - for people who want to buy engagement rings etc.
Not that I've been looking, but I think the last time I saw him doing one was a year or two ago.
No I'm not on call. Officially laid off last week and this week. I think they want me back Monday. I didn't pick up the phone. I'm thinking I might go by our union contract and make them send me a certified letter and then show up 10 days after the date, as it says in our union book. If I answer the phone, then I only get 5 days to go back. It's kind of a screwy deal.I had the heads up Saturday night from our union party that they might call. so I intentionally didn't answer the phone. I can play games too.
As long as someone else is willing to work, they'll let us have a "voluntary layoff" and still be eligible for unemployment. The unemployment center already knows this is going on and cleared through them. They don't care who gets laid off or in what order. They're still considering it a layoff and still qulified for benifits.
They are no longer labled as Live X or Live messages, and more importantly, I've added "Ignored" users code to them.
