Nothing really other than they are upset that their site didn't take off better than it did. I'm sure it'll come around once they have their spring hunt.
Was there a deadline for that hunt? If they hadn't been found by a certain date the money wouldn't be paid out? Do you suppose they never expected all of them to be found? Maybe they took a hit they hadn't expected?
What exactly is their site? I've only seen news headlines. How can I use it more?
The guy who put up the 5k knew he was going to pay it all out. The site is more for selling things and personals I think. They added some daily things to keep you stopping in more often. http://minbin.com/
I added it to my favorites. Haven't signed up yet though. Checked out the personals just for fun. To see if I recognized anyone in there seeing as it's local. They only go up to 55 years old! What am I? Dead already?? :worried:
I don't know if any of you have noticed the new Rainbow Foods "Bags of Dreams" commercial? It was shot in South Saint Paul!!! Look closely, the first shot shows the river down near Waterous wear the ramp goes down near the pump station. Another shot is at Central Square park. And you see the corner of Marie and 5th at that coffee shop (I think it's called Jude's now, used to be Coffeen's)
The Chatterbox Pub The interior furnishings include an Atari 2600 video gaming system, Frogger, and the essential ensemble of Parker Bros. and Milton Bradley board games.
Every place is packed on Thanksgiving eve. It's actually the busiest bar day of the year. Including St. Patty's Day and New Years Eve.
Bartending the night before Thanksgiving is like being a florist the day before Valentine's Day. At least that's how Travis French, a bartender at Zazou in Covington, feels about the busiest night of the year for local pubs: Thanksgiving Eve.
"It's the biggest bar night traditionally," French says. "The majority of jobs give people off for Thanksgiving. They have the ability to sleep in and get away with (a night of drinking) because most families don't eat until after 1 or 2 p.m. anyway. So all of us with hangovers get to sleep it off the next day and still make the family function. "
I love the night before thanksgiving @ the bar. This year I pub crawled with my girlfriends -usually it's just to the old bar I worked at several years ago to see old friends and do horrid shots of wild turkey (the turkey before the turkey)
That as seen on TV store at MOA is really cool. They've got just about literally everything that's advertised on TV! It's where I get bags for my food vaccum.
I just got a call from the Fairbault daily news seems they are looking for a graphic designer for Owatonna as well so they are putting me in for both jobs keeping my fingers crossed, the Owatonna job would be a mile from my house.
