Watching tonight's lighting of the 30 Rock XMas tree. It's pretty emotional because of showing all the people affected by Hurricane Katrina. I feel like I'm right there in NYC again. Except no Nick & Jessica. :eyeroll:
Well all I saw was alot of tracks going to privet land that I can't hunt on. this year was kind of half assed anyway. I am going to do some scouting come spring and find a good spot, think I am going to try Bow hunting at least you can get out there before all the deer get spooked.
They don't look so pritty when they run in front of your car when you are doing 80, the heard in Minnesota is something like 2 million it needs to be half that.
Soucheray had a column a while ago about the deer killer for St. Paul - the dude gets 200 dollars a kill and is expected to kill 200 deer in the battle creek area. 40,000 bucks! To do what guys like ESD pay the STATE to do!

I have deer here on the property that eat the pumice (discarded skins/seeds/stems) from the winemaking that are fermented - they are wobbling all over the place drunk. It's pretty funny.

Leno is going down from here on out. Kinda like when Hugh Grant went on Leno after he was busted. Dave's been trying to catch up ever since. Tonight might be that turning night. They've both been swapping high ratings in the past 2 years but Leno always had the overall monthly share. This could all change tonight.
Looks like they are moving it from up in the air to underground.
Tomorrow night they will be closing down 94 to finish the work... should be nothing affected for that though.

its can't be easy gig........but I wouldn't want to clean, remove, and dispose of that many deer.
He got paid to do it, but he had to pick up, clean all the carcasses he got and donate the meat to homeless shelters as part of the permit.
He got paid by the hour by the vineyard owners. Sweet little side job from the GunShop he owned.
