Don't feel too bad for OT. She had two of the good looking Crew guys stop by her house this week. :sheepish: Hope the neighbor's were watching.
....I got lucky...my drive into work didn't suck as bad as I thought it would...
But, I gotta admit I thought for sure I'd slide into a ditch today.
I was keeping up with traffic on 110...and I thought a nice HO HO MoHOca would be good on a snowy morning. I also needed to break a $20 so I could have spending change for the pop machine at work. Anyways.....I made this decision a little too late and got off on the turn lane to zip into Caribou. Instantly I though oh crap no salt/sand and I gotta make this turn. I honestly thought for sure I'd wind up in the ditch....the thoughts ran thru my head...break and slide into the ditch or don't break and fishtale it.....
I went with the fishtale. WOW. Nothing Not even a slide to a stop. HUH?? well OK that was cool.
but the bummer to my day was missing the "trivia question"
What christmas song was gene autry the first recorded singer of??
..coulda saved 10 cents for something I knew the answer 2....but no...I'm an idiot.
NOPE....thought that was my big bummer......it got worse.....I realized about an hour later that I paid for the coffee with my debit card....
I'm now stuck here at work with $20 and no change for a coke....this sucks!!!!
I love the Fa La La Latte! With extra nutmeg. I'm already drinking the Reindeer Blend coffee. I wish they had a similar coffee in the off season. But I go around to as many Caribou's I can find and buy them at half price after Christmas.
By 1969 Gene's version of "RUDOLPH" had sold 6,500,000 copies and was the all-time top selling single for Columbia Records (the 1957 version, recorded for Gene's Challenge label, is included here)..."RUDOLPH" ranks as the second favorite Christmas song right behind Irving Berlin's "White Christmas".
Then in 1949 songwriter Johnny Marks composed a tune from a poem - "RUDOLPH, THE RED-NOSED REINDEER" many artist turned down the chance to record this classic, but Ina Autry, Gene's first wife loved the song and felt the children would love it too...she was right...and the rest my friends, is history...this Autry Collection is Essential for all fans of Country Music and Western Films...don't miss this one, you'll never regret it!
The other night a bunch of us myspacers were going on - and my friend called one of the guys to see when he was going to get to the bar. He said he was waiting for Tom to get ready.
She goes - how did you get Tom to go? (She was thinking Myspace Tom) How sad when our lives get so wrapped around MS.
at least Indy is kickin!
but some other time i'd love 2...
