and then there was the night that one of the guys got drunk and played "i've got big balls" on an acoustic guitar. i think tc, tmk, and i were the only ones to make it out that night.
Hmmm...I'm kind of figuring out that I don't post much because I spend the entire evening slogging all the posts I missed while I was working (or otherwise living, I don't just work and not play, ya know). and then it's time to go to bed :asleep:
I don't think I could go a year without some sort of dating action. But that being said, I don't really seek it out. It just sort of trips over me and lands in my lap.
speaking of medallion hunts. I was just discussing the North St. Paul one with a friend last evening. Came up because we were right next to the McKnight Fields where it was found last year.
I still think it's possible this year to just disregard the clues and take a day or two to cover all the North St. Paul Parks, find it by brute force.
I agree with you on the N St. Paul hunt but right now they are in a pattern of public place - park - public place. Which means it could be in a public place this year.
Last four years:
2002 - Outside No. St. Paul History Museum
2003 - Casey Lake Park
2004 - Outside Community Center
2005 - McKnight Fields
Otherwise, I say we walk all the parks the night beofre the first clue and check under benches, picnic tables and bleachers.
we are actually in Grasston, in between Braham and Henriette (can't remember how to spell it) we are heading back into braham to have a few at woody's in a bit
We are so very, very lucky. There is a neighbor up here that makes sure we can get in when we come up on Friday nights. The place was all plowed and shoveled when we arrived this evening.
Sometimes it's the simple things like great neighbors and good friends that make you the most thankful.
I forgot about that tidbit...
someday I'm doing that with my backyard....
only its not gonna be a train... it'll be a go-kart track...

If it's a public place this year.. might be a bit tougher to check everything.
