Thanks. Problem is, it's going to get worse before it gets better - all the carpet's ripped up and gone, so that's a plus. Now I have to tape/paint the whole place this weekend, then stage it, then hope it sells.
Anyhoo, that's why I wasn't at the RHB. I had to lie down. A lot.
Other than clean my house from yesterdays events, and do my homework that was due last week...I don't have anything to do today...I feel like I have way to much time on my hands...
Your right actually I wouldn't  ...And on top of that I took an incomplete in one of my classes last semester because I got sick at the end of the semester so I have 3 assignments I could be working on for that class to (or I can just take the B - ) I'm so out of the homework mode right now though that I'm like :barf:
I think I am going to go out and pay back the snow for you RED!! I am going to make a snow man and run him down with my car!! lol I only wish I had A camcorder to take Vid. of it for you!!!
I was carrying a box of kitchen stuff to give to the goodwill; slipped on the ice, leaned back, which ended up bending my ankle backwards, then landed (hard) on my knee going forward, then I ended up falling backward, hitting my head on the car bumper of the car that I was putting the stuff into - then finally landed on a frying pan (upside down, handle jabbed into my side) that fell out of the box.
anyone up for an interview? i just got this email from one Emily Vaughan via coolercrew.com:
Hi!
My name is Emily Vaughan and I'm a reporter for Editor and Publisher magazine (we cover the news of the newspaper industry). I'm writing a piece about the Pioneer Press's Treasure Hunt, and I wanted to get in touch with some participants. I couldn't find any other contact information on coolercrew.com, but I was hoping I could speak with someone about the hunt sometime soon. If you're not the people to talk to, could you please forward this message on to the appropriate people?
You can get in touch with me either by email at emily.vaughn@nielsen.com or by phone at 646-654-5285. I would love to schedule a phone interview sometime this week. Thanks so much for you help!
dam You Red I wanted to do it!! I am such a people person!! and I promise I wont say anything that you guys would get mad at me about!! lol   :eyeroll: :eyeroll:
I know what you mean. I have 2 labs due this week and I havn't even started and I'm 2 chapters behind in my Adv Refrigeration 2 class. Usually I'm a chapter ahead on everything. Gotta hit the books tonight and all week!
I just talked to her, nice lady, for a new yorker. She'd be more than happy to talk to more people. I also gave her the ableminds address, info on the movie, and my secret crush on a certain red-haired beauty who I missed this year...
I've spent the entire day cleaning up the SNAFUs that occurred in my absence. Maybe tomorrow I'll get around to doing actual work. What a mess! It doesn't pay to go on vacation!
It used to irritate me no end, the eff-ups I'd have to fix when I'd get back from vacation. I'd get so bent outta shape. My back-up and I used to be equals and she's now my stupidvisor. She doesn't know my job, so... I have to wipe up after her when I come back to work. And there's a lot to wipe up...
I used to just cry because of all the time it takes to fix things or re-do them correctly, all the while I get behinder in what's coming down the pike now (vs. what should be over and done with but I'm having to revisit). I mean, one would think one's stupidvisor would know the jobs of those they stupidvise, dontcha think? Like, how can somebuddy be a stupidvisor if they DON'T know the jobs of the people they stupidvise? How do they know if what I'm doing's correct or not, or if I'm doing it well or what?
Oh, well! Mine's not to question why. Yust keep the paycheck coming!
This is for all the Mothers In the group I think It would be better to put it out here in steed of going throw all the Chicks folders and putting it in there!!!
I know mothers day is a few off but I just sent this to my mom again like I do about this time of the year since her birth day is just around the corner!!
but I do think Of all the moms in the group!!
Because most of them are like my mom to me eavn if they aren't old enough to be my mom!!
I'm proud of myself. I read 1/2 chapter in my Con. Law book and did one of my assingments to get rid of my incomplete. Then I read a novel all day and just finished. I was such a bad mom today my kids got more TV and Computer time than they normally do in a week :ooh: Now i'm having issues getting them to bed...I think they sat around to much tonight...no reading tomorrow night...I'll have to run them all night :goofy:
I had a very stressful day at work followed by a very relaxing phone conversation with a friend on my drive home. When I got home I found the driveway already shoveled and the following message on the front walk. My boys did it all on their own after school. It made my day!
