Got my entire place painted, save the kitchen and laundry room, this past Saturday. 10 hrs. with a power roller and lots of help. I did all the power rolling, and that mother is HEAVY!
Quick note about Mikey's wisdom: He forgot a small cooler from Sat. and came Sunday to get it. He asked me how it was going, and I said "They're all annoying me, I'd like to kill them." He says "Don't do that, they're your help!"
Speaking of lifting arms, I did something bad to my back and now I have another pinched nerve. :frown: I've had one on my left side for years but it hasn't affected my arm so I've left it alone. I went to the doctor on Friday and now I'm taking Vicodin and an anti-inflammatory drug, but my right hand is so weak I can't even hold a pen. Tried trimming my nails the other day and can't squeeze the clipper to get the job done. I've dropped quite a few things. Hopefully this drug treatment will fix it or I'll have to further steps, which I really don't want to do. I'm going to ask my doctor if I can try steroids for a while for the inflammation or an injection of cortisone before doing something rash.
Tells me a lot that he CAN blow it off himself! LMAO.
As for putting a cord up the hole - OUCH! As a former urology research nurse, I've seen that done a time or two...oh wait, we're talking about DECKS...oh yeah, now I remember.
:goofy: Thanks LAM. You should come sit on it sometime. It's sturdy enough to even hop up and down on it. Although the neighbors tend to look at you funny when you do it during the daytime. :sheepish:
I would be down for a hunt there a one day would probably be better!! because someone could pick it up and not know!! or just take the thing! but I think if it was more days I think you should say 1 dollar a clue or something to that effect and then the only way to get the clue is to go there and pick it up!! but thats just my thoughts on it I would be down for a hunt!! there and then!!
sleeping peacefully

I forgot about Green Eags! HaHa!
Last time I was there he had to blow off his own deck.
And he asked me to help him put a cord up the hole in his deck.

Damn you guys have me crying right now!
Kitch did watch me blow my own deck. And it is a bit dry so some protectant is definitely in order come Spring.
I need to have all of you guys over sometime when it's warmer out. You can all sit on my big deck.
Actually at home today -
Me and 2 sick kids... so much fun..
By the way - great pictures of Pity Party and RHB - makes me sad that I missed both of them.
If anyone is looking for Eags or kat today try looking here first
I actually restrained myself from posting a comment about the dry deck.
But I will now.
Of course a dry deck will require a protectant, but a dry ____ might require something different, which reminded me of a word I've found puzzling:
Main Entry: lu·bri·cant Listen to the pronunciation of lubricant
Pronunciation: \ˈlü-bri-kənt\
Function: noun
Date: circa 1828
1 : a substance (as grease) capable of reducing friction, heat, and wear when introduced as a film between solid surfaces
2 : something that lessens or prevents friction or difficulty
Now, I think that a substance like this, which enables rather than hinders the smooth interaction of "solid" surfaces, should be called a lubri-CAN not CAN'T.
And I could take it even a step further, but would have to move to the unmoderated board for that, and I'm scared to go there...
Chicken :goofy:
We'd love to have you over there
Nice Joe
What would you think of some sort of HUNT with the Ramsey County Fair this year?
One day or all 5 days? On grounds or around Ramsey County? Looking for a "treasure" or more liek a scavenger? Type of prize?
Just trying to come up with some new publicity ideas to get people to come and check out the fair.
otherwise we would scour that place in one day...and its over...
I dont think you looked closely enough at the cake
nice
